“I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last month. It is amazing. Service is second to none. Even though its always very busy, including birthday parties, the food quality is perfect and so is the service. The drink service is very efficient too. Even if you want a drink/cocktail not on the menu they still do it for you.”

“We have visited here a few times now and each time we have left it until the last minute to go. They always do their best to get us a table. The guys are so friendly and helpful, knowledgable about the food and will happily recommend and adapt to suit you. They will happily chat and tell you the history of the dish. The food is amazing. It is NOT your standard curries that you get everywhere. They actually taste homemade and authentic and you can see the whole spices in them. The food is beautifully presented. “Attended Yardley Dental today (a Sunday afternoon) and was greeted warmly and seen to by the dentist within minutes of arrival, Dentist asked what the problem was, took X-rays of the affected area and explained the options available to me and issued me a prescription of antibiotics to get rid of the infection and relieve the pain….. all this for £50!!!! I hate the dentist but due to the treatment I received today I’m returning in a few weeks for a root canal. Honestly really good people”

“We ordered some cold platters for a celebration party and they were so good. Everyone commented at the party and there was not a scrap left! We've also had hot food for a party before now and that was just as amazing. A family run, local restaurant with wonderful, friendly owners. Will definitely use them again.”

“We had our Christmas party here last night at the Christmas party night - and that it was. The whole night was fantastic - from being greeted on the car park to the amazing meal to the bar, the staff, the disco - it was all fabulous. The team were so professional and attentive, a real credit to The School House . The meal - wow, everyone commented on how beautiful the meal was. The disco - great music, great dj- really got the party going. We all had such a lovely night. On behalf of us all thank you for the best Christmas party we’ve had, we will definitely see you next year”

“Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday meal as we were staying in an AirBnb close by. Service was top tier, the lads were very attentive. We had a cocktail each which were both top quality, although I wish they sold lassi here. Food was beautiful, it felt a lot more authentic than your typical Indian restaurant. If you don't handle spice very well then maybe ask for recommendations as it's on the hotter side, masala chips were very spicy. Different dishes to choose from, the selection was great. Very much enjoyed it although quite pricey, came to nearly £90 for two. Would return if I was in the area”

“What a great little Italian restaurant. This place is all about the food. Great portion sizes, comes out quickly and most importantly, it all tastes amazing. I love Italian food and this place does everything right. It's also reasonably priced. Great experience. I had the seafood risotto and calamari starter, both cooked just perfectly. “House appraisal and Launch! 5⭐️ Great experience dealing with both Matt and Lauren for our house appraisal, valuation, launch appointment and photos through to listing respectively. Matt was friendly and professional and made the whole process easy. He allowed us to take our time with decisions, but was there for any questions. Lauren did a fantastic job at our launch appointment, she was friendly and talked me through the whole process. The appointment went well, and she listened and gave advice throughout! Overall, a brilliant experience and great support from both Matt and Lauren, thank you for making it easy for us!”

“We had the set meal for two midweek and the meal and service was excellent. The hot and sour soup was a delicious fresh tasting beginning to the feast. The selection of other dishes was very pleasant and good contrasting flavours. I'd certainly recommend Maekong Thai for a relaxed meal. The meal with drinks was £40 each in July 2025 and was excellent value.”

“After 6 weeks of excruciating pain being fobbed off by 111 and other NHS dentists with constant antibiotics, I saw Dr Benjamin who was non other than amazing I’m a extremely anxious and nervous patient, who’s past experiences with the dentist haven’t been great with care. I had a massive abscess to which on the second visit (after having some strong antibiotics) hadn’t gone down and was sent to the hospital to the maxfax team to drain it. I had a follow up call from the dentist and booked in to have the tooth removed. Thank you for looking after me and giving me the best care. I’m also entitled to NHS treatment but I would rather pay to been seen by BFD because there care and compassion is next to none ** please update your days & times your open **”

Starters all so full of flavour, food came quickly. Mains really generous portions and meat cooked so well! You can see the team making all the food fresh. Service so friendly. The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic.
