“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited as a party of 8 and had a fantastic experience. The service was attentive and friendly, making sure everyone was well looked after throughout the evening. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and every dish was full of flavour and served fresh. Our whole group thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”

“In our opinion the best Indian takeaway in the area and also the best value for money. Have been regulars for a number of years now and sadly not operating at the moment due to a refurbishment. A helpful guy who answered the phone recommended Spice of Lye which was 'ok' just not the same. Hopefully it will be back open again soon.”

“Chandani Chowk is one of our favourites. We had dinner there and ordered dal makhani with garlic naan and other starters. The food was rich, comforting, and had a proper homely Punjabi taste. The place has a warm, familiar feel, and being around Punjabi people just makes the experience better. Simple, satisfying food done right.”

“Have dined many times at San Carlo over the years living in Birmingham. Food is always good. Wine list caters to all budgets. And they have great seafood dishes. There are two levels to the restaurant and we were sat at a table tucked away which was great. Lots of mirrors with a ceiling full of artificial roses. It’s over the top but suits the venue and adds to the experience. Great wine. Lots of Italian choices. We had a couple bottles of the primitivo after a round of negronis (pleased an Italian place can make these well too) My starter was overdone under the grill. I’ve had the baked aubergine parmagiano many times and this unfortunately wasn’t their best. Monkfish tagliatelle and the shared dessert more than made up for it. The dessert was three mini portions per person and a limoncello shot for £9 each. Great value. Will look forward to my next visit.”

“At the end of the commonwealth games and 2 weeks of hard work, our team of 6 treated ourselves to a meal at Jinli and we were not dissappointed. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly polite and entertaining. Food was well presented and really tasty, lots to chose from and all came out piping hot and full of flavour. I could not fault the food or service and would love to return with my family in the future.”

“The experience was amazing. The half thigh chicken for my friend was a little extra grilled, i requested if it can be replaced and the manager gave us a replacement within 10 mins. The staff was so cooperative, especially the bald tattooed white guy lol I'd recommend this place.”

“Outstanding customer service I normally wouldn’t start a review like that however it is the headline. They had been an incident so traffic was delayed so my wife rang ahead to say we might be a bit late it was a Friday evening when the heavens have just opened. Monsoon weather in the middle of summer. From the moment we got their you the staff was very pleasant and even delayed the closing so they could accommodate a few of the late comers on another table so if you’re ever in Birmingham I would highly recommend a visit”

“I have been coming here regularly for over a year. The atmosphere, food and shisha is always amazing. The service is great. Nikki is very welcoming, open and down to earth. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves shisha and good food.”

“Staff are lovely, so helpful and friendly in fact they are probably the best members of staff we have encountered in all the premier inn hotels so far. Food was lovely and the cocktails went down a treat. The room is clean and smelt fresh. A huge thankyou and well done Tia , Charmaine and Lorna your customer service skills are spot on .”

“I stayed at The Birmingham Hotel for 1 week and the service was exceptional, the staff and housekeeping were super helpful and catered to all my needs. By far the BEST staff compared to any other hotel I have ever stayed at. My room was very spacious, clean and very well furnished.”

“Stayed here for a weekend away, the hotel was lovely, the room was very spacious, we were on the 6th floor and had a great view. The hotel is very central, about 5 mins away from the train station and the buil ring. Only downside was the traffic outside the hotel causes snarl ups at busy times so plan this in if booking an Uber or taxi.”

“The hotel was in a great location, close to restaurants and bars when we came up to see friends. Room was well cleaned and tidy, no faults or issues. Reception staff and team were very polite, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again next time we come up.”

“I just want to thank the team at Leonardo Hotel. We trialled this year booking a number of meeting rooms. They have been excellent from communication to support on the day. I also want to personally thank several people who I didn't get the names of all of. Firstly to Andrew who was very polite, extremely hardworking and ensured we were ok. I can't remember the ladies name but she was really helpful every time especially ensuring lunch for our delegates have gone smoothly for a number of our bookings. Credit to the catering team for putting a lovely hot buffet every time. The accomodation was also very good with comfortable beds. The location is great with onsite parking. We will be booking here again throughout 2026.”

The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great meal. They went above and beyond. “Great spot for a quick bite. You can pick dishes from the conyevor belt that are colour coded. There are altnerive things such as rice, noodles, sushi, and a strong range of sauces and flavours. Lots of range even if you have allergens or anything. Staff are so polite and kind! I would definitely recommend this spot if I could only choose one place to eat in the bullring.”
