“What a find this was. First impressions on entering the hotel, noticed that the garden was well tended with a neat, mowed lawn and pretty border flowers. A warm welcome and advice on where to park the car. Clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our spacious room overlooked the front garden and church on the road side, but was extremely quiet. The window opened fully, which is such a blessing as I do like fresh air, most hotels' windows only open a fraction. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom, very clean and midern, with plenty of fluffy white towels and a powerful shower. There's a hairdryer and iron if needed. Plenty of sockets to plug in your gadgets. Free WiFi. Smart tv. Breakfast was spot on, served by very friendly ladies, it came quickly and was hot and delicious, with quality bacon and sausage. Whilst waiting for friends, we had a short walk into the town centre. Which was quaint and had a friendly, warm feel to it. Close to pubs and eating places. Salts mill, Saltaire not far away, and a short journey into Bradford, which is a lovely city, with lots of historic architecture. Perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.”

The food is reasonably priced but good quality. I had fish and chips. Probably the best I have had for a very long time. If you're close by try it.”

“Since moving vets this is the first time I have had to bring one of dogs. He is usually a very nervous dog but right away, we were met by friendly staff who put ourselves and Archie at ease. This was continued when we met the vet who made archie feel comfortable, didn't try to push products on us, explained possible treatments and costs, and was knowledgeable and friendly throughout. We ledt feeling like even the vet had Archies best interests in mind opposed to trying to rack up the highest bill. Best vets visit since he was a pup, now he's 8! Would definitely recommend.”

“Met with Vet Rory who was one of the best vets I have seen in a long while. Took time to listen, was lovely with my 12 year old dog, Elvis, didn't recommend any unnecessary procedures, talked me through my options and gave advice on each one. I didn't feel rushed (even though they were busy) and came away feeling much hopeful for my older animal getting what he needs”

“Took our dog Belle to be spayed , was told about the procedure in full when dropping her off . Was called after the surgery to let me know Belle had come round and was in recovery . On collection it was again explained what Belle had had done, that she had eaten a small amount of food . Was given an aftercare sheet annd pain relief, and a follow up appointment made . Receptionists and nursing staff were all pleasant and made us feel very welcome . We have used Yorkshire vets for our animals for over 10yrs now and are happy with their care”

Extremely warm but easily controllable, great accommodation Breakfast was atrocious, poor lady working was on her own and clearly needed help. Almost nothing available from the continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast was so poor I couldn't eat it. Real shame as the rest of the stay was very nice.”

“Superb overnight stay . Perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly & welcoming and are a true asset to the place . We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch on the evening offer with the wine . Everything was tasty, well presented and of an excellent quality. The bedroom had tasteful decor with a country feel . It was spotlessly clean and was an appropriate temperature for a great night's sleep. Breakfast the following morning was hearty and again all products were of excellent quality . We will definitely return again when in the area as the whole experience was perfect .”
