“Beautiful property that feels serene and peaceful. I loved feeding the farm animals one morning and sitting by the ponds surrounded by beautiful trees and hills. My room was lovely and had everything I needed with nice extra touches and welcome basket. Highly recommend!”
“The hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transport… there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldn’t have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the prices… we didn’t… if we’d booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).”
“This place has so much history to it. Chris and Kate looked after us on our weekend away superbly. Kate is a wizard in the kitchen. Worthy of the various awards they've received”
“Great location and huge shout out to Dave who came to check in with us on arrival and tell us about the site and local area. When we needed a fire pit and another bag of wood later on he had no issues with promptly coming to us. The site is lovely and peaceful and we will definitely be back.”
“Very nice hotel room. We had a twin which was on the second (top) floor. We hadn’t realised it was part of / above a pub. Our stay was midweek so it was quiet, it may not be at the weekends as we were above the street and entrance. Excellent service, nice room with little welcome gift. Nice and central for a visit to Bristol.”
“My cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!”
“We stayed away for my husband birthday. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I highly recommend the raspberry and rhubarb gin! The room was cosy and well equipped and the pub had such a lovely vibe, it was bustling and the smell of warm mulled wine filled the air!”
“Calcot Manor offers an exceptional experience with matched service. It is a beautiful setting. We always enjoy using the gym / spa and then finishing off in The Hive” for a coffee / bite to eat. The staff in the Hive are fantastic “Amelia” being one of the many whom always greet us with a smile and warm service. We highly recommend a visit.”
“I believe 5 stars are not enough to show the level of satisfaction of our stay at the Manor House. Right from the get go, we were met by professionalism by the wonderful girls at the reception. A mix up with the room selection, was handled immediately, with a smile, (with a better room) and with complementary drinks. When this is the first impression, you just know your stay will be 10/10. And it was! During our stay we pretty much experienced the full level of hospitality at the Manor House, dined at the Michelin star By Brook restaurant, had amazing cocktails by the bar's fireplace, walked around the grounds, experienced Castle Inn cousine, enjoyed the lovely autumn colors of the British countryside. Special shout out to Declan at the bar, his cocktail suggestions were spot on! All in all a prefect stay, super recommended.”
“Really great service and food in a lovely location. Mid-size hotel in beautiful old classic Cotswold manor house. Nice gardens for a stroll. Very relaxing as is surrounded by farmers fields. Small plates restaurant was v good. Particular shout-out for the service which was friendly and welcoming.”
“Beautiful wedding venue! I got married here and had a wonderful outdoor ceremony, and everyone commented on how great the venue was. Great rooms for our guests too, and the staff were lovely and super helpful. Food was great! Lovely space, and I can't wait to come back for our anniversary ❤️”
“I took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”
“A homely, inspiring retreat with excellent facilities and great attention to detail. The coziest Soho House I’ve visited! Very dog-friendly, with fantastic Cowshed treatments—but it would be even better if the Cowshed had its own proper sauna and steam room. The pool area isn’t warm enough, making it cold to walk between facilities, especially in winter. The outdoor wood-fired sauna is absolutely amazing, though the door could use better insulation. Food is superb, and in-room breakfast is a highlight. Don’t miss the cookies at turndown—an absolute must! Also, renting wellies for exploring the beautiful countryside trails is a great touch!”
“Lucknam Park is honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you drive up that long tree-lined road, it just feels special. The setting is stunning, peaceful, and everything about it makes you instantly relax. Our room was gorgeous , cosy, elegant, and full of character. You can tell every detail has been thought through, from the bedding to the scent in the room. The spa is next level. The hydrotherapy pool, the outdoor hot pool under the trees, the thermal rooms , everything is spotless and beautifully designed. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life, and the staff there genuinely care about how you feel. The food… wow. Every meal was incredible. Breakfasts were perfect, and dinner was honestly Michelin-level , rich flavours, beautifully presented, and made with proper passion. The service was flawless , friendly but never over the top. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything right , the food, the spa, the atmosphere, the people – but Lucknam Park really does. It’s peaceful, romantic, and feels like proper old-school luxury without any stuffiness. We left already planning our next trip back.”
“Great place to stay in Bath. Only a short distance from the centre, lovely rooms and a good breakfast to start the day. Highly recommended.”
“If you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.”
“This is a fantastic, beatifully designed hotel. We had a very spacious room (no12) with views over the park on one side and the city on the other. Bed and bath both really comfortable, great breakfast and super helpful staff. I left something quite valuable behind when we left and they have found it and are sending it on to me. I highly recommend this hotel and would defintely stay there again.”
“I stayed with my friend at the Queen Matilda and in was fantastic ! The bedroom was beautiful and modern, the service and breakfast was great. The lady / the owner, is just so adorable. I will definatly recommand to stay there if you are looking for a night in Tetbury.”
“I've only stayed for one night but I was very happy with choosing this place. It is clean and the room was lovely. The staff was very nice. If ever in Bath again, I will consider staying here.”
“We were warmly greeted when we entered this super country pub/hotel - it looked so inviting as we passed a couple of times - especially at night as every effort has been made to get in the Christmas spirit! Chad showed us to our table and took our drink orders - I had a delicious 'Butty Bach' and my wife, an Amstel. We ordered Fish and Chips and a Baked Camembert. Having had Fish and Chips at a local 2 Rosette restaurant two nights previously that was really disappointing, we were keen to love our fish and chips again. It was outstanding! Fully of flavour and perfectly cooked. Care was taken to present the baked camembert with a festiv touch and was equally outstanding. We left very happy. Thanks to Chad for looking after us - in fact, the whole team were very welcoming!”
“We held our wedding here, 26 people - the whole experience was outstanding. The castle is obviously very beautiful- it is also maintained so well, and rooms full of lovely touches. Staff are always friendly yet unobtrusive, helpful and efficient - special thanks to Sophie for always being calm and amazingly helpful. The food was wonderful, over all our visits and the wedding itself.. Our day was so very special here!”
“We had our company Christmas meal here. The Xmas menu was great and the food amazing. Ashley and Freya were fantastic and looked after us all evening. Fantastic value for money.”
“Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! “Absolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. Thanks for the birthday cookies!”
“We had a wonderful 2 night stay at your hotel. Hotel was great, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Location was great. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive which every bus went into city centre. Thank you to all the staff.”
“6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”
“I don’t normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.”

“We cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.”
“Lots of gluten free options, delicious food. Gorgeous scenic location. Cutely decorated, cosy rooms. Feels so calming and welcoming. Staff are hospital and kind. Exceeded my expectations and would definitely recommend visiting.”
