I usually go for there early bird special, where they offer 8oz, 16oz, and 32oz steaks at very reasonable prices for such high-quality cuts. The steaks are always cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. “Amazing food. Nice little bread entrees. Starters were lovely. Nice pate, mozzarella triangles. The ribs were insane. The lasagna was too hot to eat so took it home and was lovely. Chicken liver and calzone all amazing. Price for 5 drinks(one bottle of wine) 5 starters and mains 175. Can't wait to go back!”

“I decided to check out this Halal British-Asian-Indian grill, and I couldn't have been more surprised. Their chicken kebab sandwich was juicy, tender and smoky, with a zesty tang. It was completely mouthwatering! Their fries had the perfect crisp & crunch with a salty-spicy kick. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or for a late night snack.”

“Tucked away in the back streets of Huddersfield - what a surprise. Delightful outside and tastefully decorated inside, my photos don't do it justice. The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and very efficient. My friend and I had a two course Christmas lunch. Beautifully presented, not as good to eat. The roast potatoes weren't crispy, the sausage in the pig in blanket wasn't very nice and the stuffing was typically 'Paxo' but the greens, mash, turkey and gravy were lovely. The Christmas pudding also wasn't to my taste, huge lumps of fruit with nuts on the outer rim, quite nasty, my friend however enjoyed it. Just shows its all a matter of taste.”

“My wife and I had lunch and what a lovely meal it was. As it is a French restaurant I had Fish soup and it didn't disappoint. I have not had Fish soup for a long time and it brought all the memories back from going to France on holiday. I had Calves liver for my main course and it was beautiful. “This is a venue you need to book a table for on weekends when events are on in Haworth. They found us a table for a drink in the past when we go for the annual Steampunk weekend. The service by all the staff is absolutely 1st class. I work in catering and seeing the way they deal with the publics questions and problems be assured you will be looked after by great people. A great comfortable atmosphere of a very old building with loads of character. Last but not least the food and drinks are amazing, tastes that you may not have tried before but you will want to go back and taste again. Book try it you will love it.”

“Lovely food, really nice staff. We’ve been three times in the last couple of weeks. The food is first class. The prices are reasonable, in particular the drinks. We like our meats very well cooked, and the beef here is slow cooked over a long time and you can separate the beef by just prodding it with the end of your knife. We cannot find beef like this anywhere else in Halifax, and the portions are quite big. The Sunday lunch roast dinner is brilliant, and you can have a small roast for a tenner but there was still plenty of food on the plate, including a beef steak over half inch thick! We have booked Xmas fayre lunch for the extended family. While they serve food daily, if you only eat out at lunchtime, they are open Friday-Sunday for lunch.”

Deserts sounded wonderful sadly we didn't have room. We will certainly return the our youngest as I know desert will definitely be eaten then! Thank for a very pleasant experience.
