“This Pets at Home branch is very organised and professional. There was a warm greeting upon entry to the store from Bart and then a lovely young lady supported me with information about hamsters. Not only did she confidently know all the genders, she even knew the Individual temperaments of each hamster. This is a different experience to the other pets at home branches I had been to.”

Walk through reception where I’ll receive my cold beverage to aid me in my swim and during the summer sitting on the side waiting for the ice cream truck to deliver my ice cream. If I want to go enjoy a bit of a quieter environment I’d book for the Sun terrace where you can be away from the pool and enjoy a lovely sun lounge!”

“I had an excellent experience at this salon on my very first visit. Josee greeted me with a warm, welcome and even offered tea—a sweet touch that made me feel right at home. Maria, who braided my twist extensions, was equally delightful. She worked quickly and skillfully, through my hair, my twists look neat and fit perfectly in my head. I appreciated that she took the time to ask about my preferences for thickness and length, every detail was just right. The salon has a fantastic vibe, clearly popular with clients, and it’s evident that all the hairdressers know hair and exactly what they are doing. I highly recommend this clean, professional, and friendly local salon. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Gorgeous, spacious, quiet and comfortable room and lovely pub. The only suggestions I'd make are putting better lighting near either of the mirrors in the room, as applying make up was a little difficult without decent light. Also putting a few more plant milk sachets as they are so small and two for two guests wasn't sufficient. Everything else was smashing and I would highly recommend.”

“After checking so many online mattresses and reading opinion I decide to check in shop. Prince was looking after us. We used many options. Check the machine for matching mattress and finally i choose one. Delivery was great. Unfortunately we had to change date for delivery and was no problem to do that. I just love my mattress. In the evening I am just looking reason to go earlier to bed, eg reading book.”

“So great I went in here because every time I walk past I can always smell the freshly backed bread. I got so bread rolls which were still hot!! They were so nice and git finished a little too quickly. The staff were very friendly. There are extremely delicious desserts too there was all you needed so great!!”

Also a special thanks to Candi for going above and beyond to help with dietary needs etc 2019 **** The woman with red hair on reception was LOVELY! Last time I didn’t have a great experience but this time... wow! She was so so lovely and accommodating. After having a csection and having to arrange a lift to pets at home that day, she explained that I would have to order and come back the next day for treatment. I apologised for not knowing and explained I would need to get a lift the following day (not expecting her to change the rules) She said “you know what... we aren’t busy let me go and sort that for you. It will save you getting someone to bring you back down.” She asked me about the baby etc She was personable and so so understanding She went above and beyond out of her way to help me That is customer service at its finest!!! Well done for getting someone like her on board! It makes such a difference to your day when you come across gems like that!!! Thank you! Please make sure this feedback gets back to her!! “We joined PGP two years ago when our eldest started in Y3, moving from the state sector, and we loved it so much we moved our younger son in Y2 last year rather than wait another year. We looked at numerous local private schools and felt that this hidden gem was ideal for our sons. It’s rigorous enough to satisfy our learning expectations without creating a stressful environment for the boys. The small class sizes mean teachers can really get to know their students and, in turn, children feel nurtured and valued. With subjects, such as English and Maths, streamed in KS2 so that the children are in even smaller groups, so much more, effective, learning is possible without a noisy environment to contend against. Given its size all the children and teachers know each other and there really is a great community feel when one attends assemblies or performances. We have been nothing but impressed by the school, this ranges from admin staff to teachers. There is a constant “can do” positive attitude that permeates it’s culture and I have found that there is clear and prompt communication between the school and parents. For example, pre-Corona, parents were allowed to come in on Friday mornings, during registration, to look through their children’s books and teachers are happy to give feedback/ suggestions throughout the term so the first you hear about any issues will not be at parents’ evening. We were particularly blown away by the way in which the school responded and adapted to the pressures put upon it as a result of Covid-19, especially when compared against other private schools offering nothing near the level we enjoyed. What a rollercoaster of a first year for the Head, Mr Faulkner! Hats off to him and all the amazing teachers! Teaching continued throughout the period, using a variety of IT based resources. Every teacher I saw or heard on Zoom, whether form teachers or specialist, were exemplary in their interactions with the children. As we all now know it’s exhausting to hold meetings on Zoom but they were faultless in the way they taught the children and never revealed exhaustion or stress. PGP responded quickly to parents’ concerns and were open to adapting to suit particular classes. The traditional curriculum continued as did additional subjects, such as art, music and PE which all help round and balance the children and remind them that normally learning is in all areas and there was no reason not to continue in this way. They even continued with assemblies and weekly merit certificates to keep up the whole school morale. I was also impressed that they maintained their pastoral role, ensuring that children’s mental health wasn’t ignored. I see that they will be holding mindfulness sessions in the Autumn term. As with other private schools they offer great pre and post school clubs as well as additional lessons, such as music and LAMDA, that are organised through the day. We can only go on our experience but we would certainly recommend checking it out and hopefully you’ll be as impressed as we were!”

“My elderly Father has been taking his beloved cat Bubbles to the PDSA for years but recently has not been very happy with their service & treatment. I suggested Vets at home as I used to take my dog to my local store. As soon as she was on the table & after a little explaining of her symptoms, she was diagnosed, recieved an injection, medication given & suggestions of other products & ideas of things we could try to help her. My Father was so happy & said he felt so at ease as soon as he walked in. We just had a feeling she was going to get the care we have waited months & months to get elsewhere. Thank you Vets at home! “The Volvo team at Croydon has been absolutely amazing—especially Hannah, who is truly an asset to the company. I booked my Volvo XC90 in for a full service and a health check. The car passed the health check, apart from an issue with the ERAD system, which I understand is a common problem. I’m hopeful that Volvo will assist with the cost of this repair. The pricing was reasonable overall. My vehicle also had a recall related to the battery, and unfortunately, it failed. Hannah promptly informed me that the battery would be replaced under the recall scheme at no cost, which was a relief. Since I rely on the car for school drop-offs and daily commuting, Hannah kindly arranged a courtesy car for me. Another impressive touch was the video link they sent, showing a detailed inspection of my car and outlining any necessary work—very professional. I will definitely continue servicing my car at this location. The team is honest, straightforward, and never pushy—just genuine people providing great service. I’m happy to recommend them. Keep up the amazing work you guys do”
