“It's taken me a while to get to writing this because it still makes me feel sad to think of it to be honest, but this practice is wonderful. Before Christmas, we were referred with Cookie to Jonathan. Although it didn't work out, I can honestly say that I know Jonathan did everything possible for her. Beyond that, I was always given the impression that Jonathan had the warmest, deepest caring attitude to not only my pet, but to each pet that I observed going in and out during my visits, which I think is all anybody could ask for. The staff at the front of the practice were always friendly and helpful too. So although it didn't work out for us, I could not have expected, nor asked for any more from this practice. “What a hidden little gem and so near to home! The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and informative. As for the food, WOW! The presentation and the food wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin restaurant, it was that good! Will definitely be going back!!”

“I have rarely experienced such courteous, kind and thoughtful staff. They really were exemplary and happy to meet every one of my needs. I was there for 3 nights for some rehab after a hip replacement which I was receiving daily at a physio practice. The accessible room was brilliant with its flat access shower and very comfortable beds with excellent quality linen and pillows. The breakfasts were delicious and always freshly cooked . My only suggestions for improvement are maybe a refurbishment the inside of the lift, And perhaps an additional shelf near the sink in the ensuite bathroom as when your mobility is affected you need to be able to reach out for things easily. A big thank you to everyone at the Townhouse hotel who made my stay extremely pleasant.”

“Took my rats here and have been very happy with the service! Staff are absolutely lovely and so warm and welcoming and absolutely adored my rats and giving them some cuddles and love! We always feel like we get treated well and I cannot thank them enough for how much they went out of their way to help us today! They did something really kind for us and I just wanted to say how much I appreciated it, since I didn't get to at the time as I was a bit of a mess! Haha.”

“I don't tend to write reviews, but Anna absolutely deserves it. I took my little Silkie Daisy to see her, Anna took her time, explained everything to me, gave me knowledge about chickens (as I'm a novice). She went out her way to contact other specialist in chickens to see if there was anything that could be done to help Daisy. Anna showed such compassion with a difficult conversation, explained everything to me in the most beautiful way. I will definitely be returning if I have anymore issues with any of my other chickens. Whilst I am here I have to commend Wendy... Wendy was absolutely incredible when I called in abit of a flap. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Thankyou for everything. “I take my dog because she likes Suntop kennels. When I take her there she knows where she is, jumping straight out of the car and runs to the entrance door. The staff truly are great and genuinely care for the animals that stay with them. Some dogs are regulars when their owners are away. Almost a doggie home from home.”

“My little miniature dachshunds are always treated with the up most care. My little baby whitbys had a poorly digestive tract. He’s been seen in hours has an urgent visit from speaking to the amazing nurses/reception team. The vets have been professional - supportive - gave him an anti sickness vaccine and he’s much better today, Thank you Kyle Charles.”

“Always fantastic service and looked after all my pets over the years but just this bank holiday my dog needed a blood test and I got a call 8pm Saturday night to say he needed some tablets ASAP and mr Owen was at the surgery and we could go and get them,He’d gone in just to see if our results were back. I will be eternally grateful for the excellent service we always receive and it will be a very sad time when mr Owen retires xx”

“Food was great: extensive menu and homemade desserts. Breakfast sandwiches used quality ingredients and you could really taste the difference. Room was clean with great WiFi and comfy bed. Location is great for accessing central Newark with complimentary parking which saves you. All in all a great experience, lovely family that run the place. Very hard to find somewhere like this these days!”

“In the past month I have visited quite a few times with my dog as I had found a mammary lump on her. The whole process from our first phonecall, our appointments, the surgery and post op appointments cannot be faulted. Every member of staff I came in to contact with were kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. They explained everything and had the time to answer any questions I had. At one point I was concerned about something with my dog's wound but they promptly saw us and dealt with the issue. It has been a very difficult time for me but I thank you all for taking care of my dog and making it as easy as it could be. I also found great reassurance in the fact my dog was excited to visit them every single time! I have to add that when I was deciding whether to use Vets For Pets, I read the online reviews and came across a negative one about one of the receptionists, Carol. I was a little unsure whether to proceed but after reading other reviews I decided that I would go here. I feel that I made the right decision. I understand that everyone has their own experiences so I'm not saying that what the person wrote was untrue, but I feel it's only fair to mention my experience with Carol. She was the first person from Vets For Pets that we spoke to and she was very kind and professional. I also dealt with her on most of my visits and she was always pleasant and helpful. I personally thought she was really nice, caring and had a good sense of humour at the appropriate times. Again, thank you to everyone at Vets For Pets, I truly appreciate your service to us.”

“What a fantastic business by far. They have a great variety of Raw meat and lots of different All natural treats for your dogs of any age and size. The staff are fantastic you are always greeted with a friendly smile and advice is always there if and when needed. Nothing is never to much for them their always more than happy to help with any queries you may have no matter how big or small. I honestly will never shop anywhere else when it comes to my dogs!!”
