“This is my local pub and I come here every few days. The atmosphere is always just right, not quiet but not loud. Service is always great. Lewis is normally the guy that serves me for food and drinks. He is a very polite and a helpful guy who always makes sure everything is good with your food. His customer service is very good and he always has a smile. The food is good and well priced.”

“10/10 once again, food was lovely and staff are all amazing. Louise is here every time we come and she is always so welcoming, friendly with our children and happy to be here. Bar staff and host also really friendly and enjoy conversing with the whole family. Price is fantastic and the kids love the ice cream machine!”

“9 of us met for lunch old work colleagues all ladies of a certain age. The staff were excellent. Friendly funny and very professional. All the meals came out together were hot and tasty. Puddings were good too. Would recommend Bold forester. Nate,Ian and Joe were brilliant as were all other staff.”

“Visited on a weeknight, plenty of seating, friendly atmosphere and bar staff, enjoyed loaded nachos, which was a generous portion, it came hot and was very tasty and a burger with soft drinks, ordered via the QR code on the table, food came quickly. There are screens everywhere that had sports showing, so if you're easily distracted this one's not for you! The venue is accessible by a flight of stairs but the is a wheelchair lift.”

“Had breakfast here one Sunday morning. Great that it opens from 8am and for £1.30 there is unlimited hot drinks. I had the pancakes with bacon. Whilst the picture makes it looks un-appetising, it was pretty tasty! Service was really swift - there were a few people there for breakfast already, but the staff were on the ball!”

“Huck's Sherwood Forest provided a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and a cosy atmosphere. The menu had great variety, and each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. What really made our visit memorable was our server, Eve. She was attentive and friendly. Her excellent service made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. If you're looking for great food and outstanding service, Huck's is definitely worth a visit!”

“I like this Spoons, very modern kind of interior. Can't believe it's Wetherspoon. Good real ale, nice smart decor, tidy toilets. Best pub in Bolsover so far. Perfect location just next to Bolsover Castle.quick service by friendly staff. Very clean and tidy place and good seating area inside and outside.”

“We went to see the new refurbishment and it was lovely and fresh and clean. Our meals were of the festive and normal menu but the festive was missing some elements. However once this was highlighted to staff and manager it was rectified and compensated. The staff went above and beyond. Hopefully The Hind has turned a corner and we will definitely give it another try. Thank you Mikey and Claire.”

“Came in here with my uncle Steven to have a bite to eat. Morley our server was phenomenal, she was so friendly and helpful. The manager on shift was really helpful with getting me somewhere comfortable for my wheelchair to go. Food was outstanding the short rib was falling off the bone. There were three chefs at our table and all three of us were very happy. The price was basically unbeatable for that quality. I looked into the hotel rooms and they're really reasonably priced, and you get 10% off food at the bar which is amazing. 1000% will be coming back here when we're next in town.”

“Booked a table of 12 people (family) and the food was amazing for the price, the staff were friendly and the timings on the service was amazing too. Quite happy they could fit a family of 12 in on a sunday last minute where as other pubs cancelled. 10/10!!”

“Had my son's 6th birthday party here along with 10 of his friends and we had a great time! There was absolutely nothing for me to do as the staff did it all. The kids were served so much food which they really enjoyed, and had a good time playing and burning off all their energy. “Had a fantastic meal here. The food was superb. I had the pulled lamb curry which was lovely. The garlic mushrooms to start were amazing and portion sizes were perfect. Service was great too. Does a lovely pint of Amstel.”

“Yes it's a spoons but out of all the ones I've visited it was one on the nicest. Never have I ordered a Hendricks and it been served with cucumber (even though this it what it states on menu). Top marks Worksop. Didn't eat but plenty of people where and what I saw looked well cooked and nicely presented, definitely better than some other places which I won't name. Staff were extremely pleasant and cleared tables quickly despite how busy it was. Toilets were clean and well maintained.”

“Myself and my partner are in Nottinghamshire visiting family and are stay within walking distance of the pub. Nice quiet pub, with easy access. To the front is a small seating area, to enjoy a pint with friends. Inside has a eating area and a bar/games area. Very clean and friendly public house. We have 2 dogs and was welcomed by a friendly member of staff. The food was to a good standard. Prices of drinks where at a very good price. Well recommended a visit.Well done to all and thank you.”
