“Registered my cat here. The care has always been good and I've always gotten an appointment when I needed one. Those on Reception are really friendly and always love to see my cat. The vets themselves are very caring and knowledgeable but firm with a scared and hyperactive marmalade cat.”

“David and the staff are great, they have looked after several of my older cats who needed regular medication. The cats were well cared for and I’d highly recommend Ballyharvey to anyone.”

“The staff are lovely and accommodating and Dr Joanne is down-to-earth, compassionate, and pragmatic. Our nearly 17-year-old wee dog remains energetic and his lovable, sociable self under Dr Joanne’s expert care, notwithstanding a heart murmur, and degenerating eye sight. We are very grateful for the care they provide, and highly recommend this veterinary service.”

“Super little cafe with a lovely little menu. Popped in mid week and took a seat outside as we had our puppy with us. Welcomed inside with our wee dog who was just so delighted to be included. What a lovely spot. We'll definitely be back!”

“I chose to stay here vs. a Premier Inn & I was so pleased I did!! Such lovely hosts, Avril & Terry. So friendly & welcoming. Granted the Inn is slightly dated but I like that, why does everything have to be so modern? It's beautifully quirky & my bed had its own postcode. So comfortable! Well needed after a long day travelling & working. The small touches of the alcohol fridge in the shared sitting room was lovely, along with the small extra touches such as a generous amount of teabags/sugar & milk in the room. Views are also beautiful. Such a lovely quiet, relaxing location. Would love to see it in the summer! The only down side was the power of the shower but that's not a major issue for me.”

“Have always had excellent service from Hollygate. All staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Have been with them for 15 years and would highly recommended the practice. My recent dealings with Rebecca were excellent. She telephoned and kept me up to date on every procedure and explained all my options. Could not do enough to help.”

His attention to detail and compassionate nature is second to none. His prices are very reasonable. Long may he continue to practice and care for animals.”

“Honestly one of the best vet practices I've ever been to and I have been to many Have been down twice in the last few days with my two kittens, receptionist was lovely, efficient & professional & both vets i seen were super compassionate, friendly, knowlegeble Knew exactly what was wrong straight away, very reassuring and explained everything in detail. And very reasonable price too which is always a bonus. Appreciate this little gem on our doorstep.”

“Just got back from our wedding and honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with how Animal Ark looked after our dog. The place is clean, spacious and the staff are super friendly. It was our first time leaving him at Animal Ark, but they made it easy for us. We came back to a happy and healthy pup. Thanks to everyone at Animal Ark, we’ll definitely be back. 100% recommend!”

“Wonderful shopping experience today, 30/10/23, at Home Bargains Hollywood Exchange. Got everything we wanted plus much more. The reason I felt it necessary to write this review was based purely on the staff assistant who served us at the til. She would brighten anyone’s day. So happy, positive, friendly & professional. She chatted as she worked & the banter was great. Don’t think I’ve ever met such a lovely member of staff, anywhere. I really hope this lovely girl gets a pat on the back from management. Employee of the month, every month would hardly be enough! She really lifted our spirits! You have a wee jewel in Varsha.”

“Great service, wonderful restaurants and bars, excellent location, and nice rooms. We stayed for a few nights and took advantage of all the restaurants and bars and we're very pleased. The staff is very professional and well presented. The room.we had was large and comfortable if a bit garish with the English Baroque decor. The bathroom was amazing - large, warm, and full of amenities. The breakfast in the Great Room restaurant was very nice. Dinner in Bert's Jazz Bar was great. Afternoon tea on our last day was our first proper English tea and, to our surprise, we were quite full at the end. The staff there were particularly warm and friendly and always met every need with a positive attitude. You may want to ask for a room away from Skipper Street as there is an outdoor bar that plays music well into the wee hours.”

“We got married on October 18, 2025. When we first viewed the venue in 2024, the viewing was host by Kirsty who was extremely professional and knowledgable. Which is part of why we wanted to put our trust in Clandeboye. Since booking the venue, every single member of the wedding team was been quick to respond to our many questions and always helpful. Whether it was Lorraine, Ian, Mai, Gia, or someone else. In particular, they were excellent in helping with guest allergies and concerns, immediately reducing our stress levels. Graham (our MC) and the team absolutely smashed it out of the park on the day. Graham made sure to introduce himself the night before the wedding and was extremely professional but approachable on the day itself. He even considered the little touches like keeping us canapés to the side to ensure we ate and checking in with us regularly (without being on top of us all day). When there were issues, he discretely dealt with them on our behalf and nothing felt like too much. Our guests lauded the serving team at dinner and the food, saying it’s one of the best wedding meals they’ve had. The team were prompt, polite and (from what we seen) the service was seamless. The clandeboye truly was our dream wedding venue and we couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“Town Vets are wonderful. Lost our wee 16 year old Jack Russell last week and they handled everything with compassion and understanding. Just received a lovely card from them with a wee paw print of Holly. Couldn't ask for better.”

“Donna and her husband we're Lovely, nothing was too much h trouble. Our room was super clean with the usual tea coffee hot chocolate, and biscuits. The bathroom was spotless with complementary washing ,showering and towels ect .And the breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of things to choose from .5 stars no problem .”

“Great stay at Cordia apartments. Convenient location with a bus stop very close outside which takes you directly to the city centre. Basic straightforward accommodation at a reasonable price. Varnika and Nadine were really helpful and very responsive to any queries. Very impressed by the service.”

“We did a mad dash to the vets to arrange an Irish passport for my English dog (rather than pay £250 each time we travel to Europe for an EHC). This meant disembarking the ferry at 09:45 in Belfast, travelling to Vets4Pets, then back to the ferry for 11:00 to check in. Arthur took a long phone call with me before hand to explain the process (at no cost) then saw me on the day I travelled. Arthur is obviously very knowledgeable on the paperwork process and completed this very quickly in person. Great service from start to finish and the ladies on reception are great craic. “Came to larne to collect 2 puppies on Saturday 30th November. We weren't told they had to be microchipped. We certainly found out at the P&O port !! We missed one boat and they refused to let us on the next. !!. We had to ring your vets , after explaining our situation that we were not allowed to return to Scotland, a young vet opened up for us as an emergency and microchipped both pups. We managed to get a sailing with wonderful stena line after that and safely arrived home by 3.15 am . So much thanks to her , if it weren't for your lovely vet god knows when we would have got home.Thank You So Much Mrs A Dew , castle Douglas.”

“Always greeted by name and pet name. I am disabled so the vet collected my dog from the car explaining the vaccinations to be given. Then returned my dog back to the car to me along with the record card and her monthly treatment tablets. It's a great service by a group of people who treat my pet as the beloved companion she is to me. They care and it means a lot”

“Brought my puppy here for her injection today & I had a positive first experience with this place. The receptionist is very helpful & welcoming. The vet herself was great with my pug & showed me how to clean my pugs ear's correctly. After this experience I will move my older dog to this vet also. Thank you”
