“Updating to show our appreciation for Jess and her team. Due to breaking my ankle, I was unable to drive meaning our boy didn’t get a groom for many months. He was in a desperate need for one and Jess and the team done an amazing groom on him without any judgment, thank you! We are regular and returning customers. Our 5 year old Husky doesn’t like being groomed (as most Huskies) but I trust Jess and her team. He comes out looking and smelling amazing!”

“We booked three apartments for far flung family to come together and celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Everyone was impressed by the standard and cleanliness of the apartments. I was in the Loom suite and the bed and bedding was so comfy - slept like a log. Communication was spot on and my queries were answered quickly, even on Sunday. Apartments are on a main road and parking is down side street but that wasn’t an issue. Train station is about 10 minutes walk in Saltaire - which is well worth a visit. Great wine shop just up the road snd plenty of cafes for that breakfast coffee fix. Will definitely recommend!”

“I brought my cat in to be neutered and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. The staff was professional, compassionate, and clearly experienced. They made sure to explain the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. The surgery went smoothly, and my cat was back to his usual self in no time. I really appreciated the follow-up instructions and how easy it was to reach out with any post-op concerns. It’s clear they truly care about the well-being of their patients. “Just spent a lovely weekend with my partner for a surprise birthday present for her. WOW such beautiful views to wake up to every morning, topped off with a great breakfast to start the day off. All the of the staff are so welcoming and so helpful, the owner Nicky even pointed us in the direction of places to visit while we stayed. The bedroom was a great size and well equipped, it was our first visit but won't be out last.”

“I've just taken my 14 week old Lhasa Apso puppy, I was very impressed with the lady who groomed her, she was friendly and asked me how I wanted her cutting, I went back 1 1/2 hour later for her and I was so impressed with how she looked. I was so happy with it all, ive rebooked her in again, definitely recommend.”

“Great, knowledgeable people who care about animals. They have x-ray facilities and do some operations on site. Part of a local chain, with an animal hospital in Halifax for out-of-hours services. Offers a 'pet plan' for a direct debit of about £14/month, which includes all flea and worming treatments for the year, and also the annual vaccination. The practice was recommended to me by a friend, and I have recommended it to others.”

“My dog was due for a 6 monthly checkup and annual vaccinations, as well as a Citapoint injection and the administration of her flea and wormer tablet (which she won’t take from me). We received a warm welcome at the Reception Desk, with hugs and treats for my dog, and an excellent session with vet Stuart Black, who made my dog feel very much at home in the surgery, and not only conducted the procedures very efficiently, but gave very helpful nutritional advice.”

“This a fine little dog cafe . You can tell the girls love dogs decent coffee and a fantastic Biscoff ice cream milk shake . Scone with cream and jam delicious . Basil the dog enjoyed his ice cream . When in Hebden Bridge give Kibble bakery a visit .”

“I’ve been taking my puppy to It’s a Dog Life for 5 months now, one day a week, and they are always so flexible if I need an extra day. The cost is so reasonable compared to a dog walker, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s cared for all day while I’m at work. The staff are amazing – especially Louise, who my dog absolutely adores! He’s always so excited when we pull up, and often doesn’t want to leave. He’s also had a groom here and it was excellent. In fact, when I took him for a last-minute bath at Pets at Home, they asked who groomed him and said it was one of the best they’d seen. I would honestly be lost without this service. Highly recommend!”

“Stinkys is the only dog groomers our 3 y/o Bernese Mountain Dog Nutmeg has ever known. Nutmeg loves going to see Tina & Paul - it's one of her favourite places to go PLUS she comes out smelling salon fresh. I can't praise them highly enough. Nutmeg is a big, high-energy dog and she gets 1st class treatment at Stinkys so we wouldn't take her anywhere else.”

“We visited 27/10/25 for the Spooks event during half term. We visited Trick or Treat Street, The pumpkin patch, The Rustic Garden for the School of Evil show and food, the bouncing pillows, the animal barns and the Soft Play. Trick or Treat Street was great, you move as a small group and knock on the doors for a Trick or a Treat. The characters were great and included all children. The School of Evil show was great. The kids age 6 and 7 really enjoyed this and the dance moves. They even got the adults up dancing too and gave time at the end for pictures, I noticed they made an effort with each child which was lovely. We got coffees and food from the food truck. The coffees at £3 each were disappointing and the bar coffee machine wasn't working. Our meals were nice. The children's portion sizes were decent sized, good enough for an adult. The pumpkin patch is good and one of the less muddy ones, with some lovely photo opportunities. Pumpkins not included and these are extra. There was a pumpkin carving area in one of the barns so you could carve on the day if you wished. There are a couple of animal areas, but I feel that these are lacking compared to other farms. We love animals so it would be nice to have some more areas. The soft play is large and the kids really enjoyed it. We were glad we ate at the rustic garden as the queue was so long and the QR option to order from your table wasn't working. But they do offer a larger selection of food here. All staff at the farm were friendly and pleasant. As it was half term it was busy just queuing in at opening, yet staff remained friendly to everyone despite the constant queue. We have visited Thornton Hall several times before and have enjoyed ourself each time.”
