Shows they are a caring practice. Would definitely recommend.”

“Any pets we've taken here have had an excellent experience and prompt and effective care. As far as we know, they're an independent outfit and not part of some large conglomerate, which may also account for their reasonable pricing. The only thing to watch is the parking in their yard, which can be tight and awkward, but you can usually park further away if it's a problem.”

“I met Tony on the front desk and wow was he lovely and chatty, making me feel so at ease with the whole cattery process (as a first time cat owner). My cat spent 5 nights at Cherry Tree and came home relaxed and settled, which is a huge achievement! Obviously our cat missed us and was clingy for a few days, but they kept her routine and she was very well looked after. I'll definitely be coming back to such a lovely family run business. “Great campsite with spectacular views, very reasonably priced. The owner Ann is always helpful and friendly. The site boasts a huge barn with tables and chairs, a kettle, fridge and power points for phone charging, The showers are powerful and hot with facilities kept spotlessly clean. You can hire a fire pit and buy logs on site so you can enjoy a camp fire while taking in the amazing views across the valley. It’s a short but steep walk down to Hebden Bridge through pretty woods but we would recommend getting a taxi back up the hill ( £10) unless you are very fit! On Sunday morning there is a food cabin on site serving full breakfast, sandwiches and hot drinks. This is our second visit to Old Chamber and we hope to visit again soon.”

“Such a great service I love that it is easy to book walks and they are very flexible which is perfect for shift workers. They have a back up walker if your walker is off for any reason so your dog doesn't go without a walk. My dog loves his walks with his walker Kathryn and I look forward to seeing the photos they post afterwards.”

“We attended Teen Terrors with our puppy chihuahua and also had a one to one session for our older terrier cross who has struggled with anxiety/reactivity over the years. Both me and my husband felt so much more confident after working with Jo. She really understands and cares for dogs. We learnt about lead handling and how to use body language to stay connected with your dog. We learnt about the importance of play and giving your dog choices. And we focussed on setting our dogs up for success - choosing the right environment for a walk, eliminating stress etc. We're all now feeling positive and ready to go!”

He was in a desperate need for one and Jess and the team done an amazing groom on him without any judgment, thank you! We are regular and returning customers. Our 5 year old Husky doesn’t like being groomed (as most Huskies) but I trust Jess and her team. He comes out looking and smelling amazing!”

“I've just taken my 14 week old Lhasa Apso puppy, I was very impressed with the lady who groomed her, she was friendly and asked me how I wanted her cutting, I went back 1 1/2 hour later for her and I was so impressed with how she looked. “I took my Border Collie, Ella, for her first groom at Mucki Pups last Friday and I'm delighted with the job that Chris and Julie did. Ella doesn't particularly like being groomed but she looked fabulous when I picked her up and even enjoyed her bath! I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris & Julie as they have done such a great job of thinning her coat, dealing with clumps of fur on her back legs etc. I've already booked Ella in for next visit and will continue to take her to Mucki pups in the future.”

“With a degree of nervousness, I took my very heavily coated bearded collie to Joanne at Look North, after a recommendation from another highly regarded groomer. I asked if she was able to make his coat more manageable for me to groom, but still keep the long coated shaggy look. Joanne listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and she did an amazing job, thinning out his coat in all the difficult areas. I am absolutely over the moon with the result and will definitely be going back. Very professional and experienced groomer. PS He smelt gorgeous too!”
