“A decent hotel with a good standard. My room was lovely and clean. Teas and coffees. All pretty standard stuff. The staff were lovely and very helpful as my card key played up on one occasion. Would be happy to stay again Worst I can say is no free parking. Bit it is the city centre I suppose”

“This is a very basic sleeping facility. Food is available at the hotel and Spa, and at a Cafe just beside the Lodge. Ample packing. Only flip side is the checking in at the hotel and spa, I came in with family in the rain and had to run back by foot to check in. Ambience is very lovely as well.”

“Very nice, cheap and friendly hotel. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes, but when we said about it they where very quickly to change it to another room, with a better view and with neutral smell. They did confuse our breakfast ( which was included with a room, for one night, for 2, 70£ ) but to fix it they gave us extra food. Was lovely, would definitely recommend it, if You don't want to break Your bank and still have a cosy night.”

“Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and local parks. This is also a dog friendly hotel which is great! A doggy bowl was provided but I brought a doggy bed. Chose a single room which was cosy and adequate for 1. I had a a very peaceful night's sleep and the bed, although single, was very comfy! The only downside was that the room was located on the 3rd floor with no lifts available, so next time I will definitely choose differently! In addition,the car park was full when I arrived, but I was able to park directly in front for a £10 fee for a parking permit which was valid for over a week. Unfortunately, parking can be difficult in Clifton Village, so I did not mind. I will definitely be returning for the location especially.”

“Had a really lovely stay at the Rodney Hotel. Great room with very comfortable bed and an immaculate bathroom and good shower. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly (Katie, Juan and Suki). And the food was outstanding (we had the afternoon tea which was fantastic, and a really nice breakfast). Would highly recommend.”

“Only lost one star because we unfortunately chose the smallest caravan and although shower great, tinsy sink and tiny space to squeeze past to get to toilet! Otherwise caravan perfect for our needs. Staff nothing too much trouble and guest house itself and food excellent . We'd definitely come to stay again. Perfect position for exploring on foot. Thank you!”

“30 members of Fitin30’s ladies gym had a delightful Christmas get together yesterday at The Beaufort. Enormous portions and plenty of veg, along with very friendly and attentive staff made it a perfect lunch. Thank you Lucy and her lovely team, we had a great time.”

“We had stayed in a Travelodge the previous night and this place was lightyears better. The room is excellent and the location is well situated in the area. However, what makes it really great are the reception staff. The two women on reception were friendly, good with our boy and gave the impression that they couldn't do enough for us, should we need anything.”

“Stayed for one night and had a nice, spacious room looking out onto the river. I liked the modern ambience of my room, however the bed was a bit too hard for my liking and I could hear a lot of noise coming from the riverside and the corridors, so it didn't seem like it was very well soundproofed. However I still managed to get a good nights sleep, probably more because I'd already had quite a few beers lol, so these issues were just minor. However the best thing about this hotel is the city centre location. Nicely perched on the riverside and just mere seconds to all the nice craft beer pubs on King Street. Will stay again!”

“We attended a wedding at the hotel recently which impressed me so much that I felt compelled to leave a review. The event went flawlessly, everyone in the team executed their role to perfection. The wedding breakfast was incredible, and to scale (not a huge number but still) makes it even more impressive. We stayed overnight and the bedroom was a little tired, but super clean with a really comfortable bed. The location is stunning. Waking up in the morning, overlooking the view was breathtaking. The buffet breakfast was sufficient and ok to start us off on our way home. Top marks to the team! Well done all of you and thank you x”

Over the course of two unforgettable days, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail—we are absolutely over the moon with how it all turned out! “What a find this hotel was. High up on the coast with views across the Bristol Channel to Wales. Our room was large spacious and cool. No need for a fan. The sausages at breakfast are massive. Also some good outdoor drinking areas again with amazing views.”

“Really friendly staff always happy to help. It’s actually the first place I try to get a room when I know I’m working close. But to be honest I even traveled an hr from site just to stay at this specific hotel. The gym is clean and has plenty of equipment and I always jump in the sauna after and sometimes to finish off I’d visit the pool. All the facilities are great just like the staff. Oh and my room was always clean and fresh when I arrived back each day. Looking forward to working around that area again”

“We chose this hotel due to it's location near Bristol Temple Meads, it is directly in front of it. It is though a well run hotel, friendly staff and we found the rooms clean, great WiFi and although they are a little old, comfortable and cosy. An easy walk to many attractions you can arrive by train or car and walk to SS Great Britain or St Nicholas Markets or the many restaurants and pubs. A really good breakfast and the bar is quite nice also. A great stay.”

“We had breakfast this morning and I can only praise the staff on reception and in the restaurant. They were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much bother. My husband had a lovely cooked breakfast which he said was one of the best he had! We are all quick to criticise so it’s nice to be able to compliment staff who were so helpful and I told them so.”

“We recently had the pleasure of staying at The bath Spa Hotel, which as always didn’t disappoint. As always it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how luxurious and welcoming everything is. The suite was absolutely stunnin,spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated with every detail thoughtfully considered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the room were just breathtaking. We truly felt like we were in a five-star sanctuary. We took a dip in the outdoor pool which was incredible. The food was another highlight of my stay. Every meal was a delight! Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the quality of the dishes was exceptional. What really made this hotel stand out, though, was the staff. Every single team member was so friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. “We stayed overnight for the New Years Eve party and have nothing but praise for the whole event. From start to finish everything was well catered for and all the staff lovely, friendly and helpful. We will return. One glitch for me personally was that i like a swim - and children were in the 'lane swim' portion of the pool.”

“Stayed in Bath as went to watch a show at the forum . Staff were really friendly, we were surprised as our room was ready at 1pm. Nice clean and airy room, bed was comfy, had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a self service buffet. It was hot and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.”

“The room was appropriately clean and tidy clean sheets and bathroom was good, service from the desk was freindly and prompt even with a trainee. location is very convenient due to the closeness of Temple meads and by extention the airport. Wasnt the most quiet room you could hear when other rooms were moving about particularly showers in the morning but for the price little to fault another successful Ibis stay.”

“We stayed at the hotel after our wedding night and had a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely, and we found the rooms to be cosy yet beautiful, with great facilities. The following morning, the breakfast was excellent. The only minor downsides is that it's a shame the rooms aren't large enough to accommodate families. Also a friends room had only a blocked window from the building architecture. Overall, we'd highly recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay!”

“We had a wonderful short stay at this Premier Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had an excellent night’s sleep as it was peaceful with no disturbances at all. The food was great, both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable. The staff were fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay here again when we are in the area.”

“I've stayed at this hostel 4 or 5 times now and have loved every stay. Firstly location wise being so close to the arnolfini and harbour side is excellent, the staff are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are always tidy and there is very little noise from inside the hostel. One previous visit also saw a local musician play some acoustic music which was lovely. I'd recommend this place to anyone.”

“If I could rate Emma more highly, I would. Ever since we brought my pup home (she’s now 2.5 years old) I had been worried about what to do with her when we went away if we went to somewhere that wasn’t dog friendly. I’m so pleased I found Emma. She provides a home from home experience and Annie simply adores her. Emma is reliable and often accommodates us at short notice when I forget to plan ahead. She has never let us down and always looks after her with the highest level of care and attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma to anyone.”

“Friends for Pets looked after our house cat for a week, and texted us to let us know she was fine. Everything went very well, we met the cat visitor before we left and had a chance to introduce her to the cat and show her where everything was. It worked out very well and we'll use the service again!”
