“This was our third stay at Old Manor B & B and the standards were just as excellent as on our previous visits. Lovely room (No.1 Green Room) that has recently been redecorated and new bathroom. Great breakfasts. Perfect location for visiting the beautiful local area and the pretty towns of Axbridge and Cheddar on the doorstep. Cross village has 2 excellent pubs with the White Hart being a must for beer fans, having its own brewery.”

“I was feeling anxious about leaving our puppy in kennels while we were away but he was excited when dropped off and was happy and healthy when we picked him back up. Thank you Duncan and team for looking after our pup so well, he will definitely be back.”

“Absolutely fabulous cattery. Treated our cat just like their own, she was really happy and settled here. Upon picking her up you could clearly see all the other cats staying were really relaxed and happy too - was lovely to see! Will definitely be using everytime we are away and highly reccomend!”

“After a long drive from Gatwick, we were given a very warm welcome from Rachael and directed to the local pub for a great dinner. Next morning breakfast was very good and after s stroll around what is a working farm we departed. Next day got SMS to say left an item of clothing which she then posted to our Australian address. Accommodation is in modern purpose built wing and the rural setting (but only a few minutes from Cheddar village) ensure a tranquil stay”

“Brilliant place for anything Doggy related. As first time dog owners we really didn’t know what we were doing but Sam and Darren are so very knowledgeable and friendly we loved taking our puppy to classes there (and he loved it too). Apart from being very welcoming they are extremely patient (with owners and dogs!) Sam and Darren are very understanding of all degrees of experience and we were never made to feel like the rookies we were and our confidence with our puppy and indeed all dogs came on greatly. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough!”

The frequent videos proved they were settling in and enjoying their stay. This is a little gem, small family run business with plenty of staff to spend quality time with each boarder. Clean, modern and secure. Highly recommended (from a dog owner who was anxious about taking a holiday)”

“What a fantastic find. I stayed here whilst on a course locally. It was absolutely stunning. I was travelling on my own and felt so safe. The security is superb as well as the standard of the room. Absolutely everything is perfect. It’s peaceful and so comfortable. They have thought of everything down to the fridge turning off after 10pm for a peaceful night’s sleep. The finishing touches are so thoughtful. They really do go over and above to make their guests enjoy. It’s more than just a room it’s almost like a little studio apartment. I would even go as far as to say it’s the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Looking forward to staying again next month.”

“Lisa is a lovely host, so friendly and so attentive making sure we had everything we needed - it really felt like she added a nice personal touch to everything about the place, and she's willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a perfect stay. She was more than happy to arrange an early check-in for us which was a life saver for our plans. Immaculately clean, modern and cosy, the best facilities you could ask for (amazing shower, Smart TV, mini fridge, snacks & drinks, fan etc), and we both felt the bed was the comfiest we'd ever slept in! Good location also - never difficult to book an Uber/taxi and not far from the airport or city/train station. I can't think of any improvements I'd suggest whatsoever. Really can't fault this place, it's everything we needed and more! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone :)”

“Clean and tidy, great host, fantastic Japanese breakfast of Rice and Miso. Easy to deal with, flexible. What all B&B experiences should be like. Perfect place to stay if going to Bath races, 5mins in a taxi.”

“The hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transport… there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldn’t have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the prices… we didn’t… if we’d booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).”

“We stayed at Bath Townhouse this weekend as a party of 7 hens and 1 bride to be, on the ground floor. What a fabulous place it is! It's in a really central location, so we could get to all the places we needed to within 5-10 mins on foot. It has chic decor, plenty of room and an awesome "cavern" area for parties. We were given everything we needed as well. The beds are so comfy I fell asleep immediately!! A must stay if you're going to Bath in a big group. Thank you for hosting us!”

“We stayed at this lovely house at the beginning of September for a week just before our wedding in Bath. The house is beautiful and was a wonderful place for our family to gather. We enjoyed touring the area (very easy to access Bath, other local attractions and great nearby pubs - especially The George right next door!). We also relaxed in the charming garden, with many badminton & ping pong challenges, and were able to have our large group linger outside over dinner in the evenings. The interior of the house is beautifully decorated with great space for a large group to gather or find quiet spots on their own. Finally, Deborah was a very attentive host who responded to every question quickly. We highly recommend this lovely home!”

“This campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!”

“Had my first 1 to 1 training session today with Alex and Freya, they were both lovely very helpful and showed a lot of knowledge about my dog, i learned a lot from them, my dog loved them as well. I feel very confident and looking forward to our next session here! Amazing service!”

“Visiting for my Husbands birthday for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was so lovely, spacious, smelt gorgeous and over our expectations. The owner was so helpful who we met. We knew the breakfast wasn’t being served before we booked due to renovation, but they had left fruit, treats etc which I thought was lovely. The place is at the top of a huge hill, but we drove down into town and paid to park there. If you don’t mind doing this then it’s not a problem. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Amazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If you’re looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.”

“Brilliant weekend here. Stayed in a shepherds hut which was extremely comfortable with lots of those little extras that make it extra special. My only regret was the weather was too warm to light the stove in the hut! Owners very friendly and accommodating, couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again, may try a yurt next time.”
