βWhat an absolute fabulous store, with even better staff! My recent purchase of a TV was sublime! Upon collection the box had some of the foam showing out of the bottom. Jane kindly offered to undo and examine the TV for defects. Its a 58" TV, so that is not an easy task. Jane treated the TV with her upmost care. All was good upon examination, again Jane and her colleague (sadly did not get their name) placed the TV back in the box with care. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane and her colleague. Jane grabbed the sack truck, popped on the high viz vest and offered to bring it down in the lift and also helped me load the TV in the car. Jane and her colleague are absolute diamonds.Thank you so much for a very pleasant shopping experience.β
βOnce you get over the dated interior you will have a lovely stay. I loved the size of the room we stayed in, much bigger than the whole flat that we rented before we went there. The bed was huge and the only one I've slept in away from home where I didn't get backache. The shower was just great and would love one that powerful at home. A word of warning though - test the water before having a shower because the water is extremely hot.The housekeeping team were fabulous with clean towels every day. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Would I stay there again? For sure. Love it.β
βI gave never had any bad experiences every time i go there to collect my parcel, the guy in the shop can hardly speak English but, heβs very polite, helpful and friendly . He understand hands gestures and always ready to serve you .β
βJulie and her staff were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our stay as a large group was as comfortable as it could be. The location is an easy 5 min walk to the centre of Rugby, beds are comfy, and everything works (what more do you need). Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel at this price point.β
βIt would be nice to keep all prices lowβ
βVisit often always great service by staffβ
βFirst time customer - ordered three items, two of which were very competitively priced. Order qualified for free 3-5 working days delivery. All delivered nicely boxed within that timeframe.β
βWe spent two lovely nights here in this homestay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing and we where made to feel at home. Rooms where clean and beautifully decorated. We would definately stay here again. We had a great view of the lovely countryside there, just no time to explore. We have not seen TV program, and would suggest reviews based on this can just be ignored. Shops, places to eat β
βFriendly staff aswell as locals. The room was great despite the floors needing a clean. Good location with courtyard view, despite the skip. Situated in the ideal place for the NEC.β
βLovely hotel to stay in. Rooms were tastefully furnished. There is free parking in nearby streets. Hosts are very welcoming and sort any problems out. It would be handy to have an outdoor light (didn't see one) for going out in the dark as there are some deep steps. Also the bathroom could do with updating so it looks as good as the bedrooms. Either way I'd happily stay here again anytime I'm in Coventry :)β
βI absolutely loved my stay in Britannia Coventry. It is a totally old-fashioned hotel with four or five Otis brushed stainless-steel elevators, the rooms are really nice (not luxurious but nice and comfortable and mine was big). The price for each additional day was not much more than 30 pounds, and I chose to have the breakfast which can last up to 3 hours, they have everything, cranberry juice, orange juice, coffee, tea, one of those big old toast machines, and huge trays of unlimited and really big nice sausages, whole stewed tomatoes, nice scrambled eggs, omlettes, fried eggs. I attach some pictures but to understand those are HUGE trays Ah, about the neigbhourhood, it is a 24 hour student neighbourhood, really coming up from how it used to be. But it is international and there are guards watching the door. At night you can go in and out any time, even after 11:00, but to come in you do need to push the buzzer so the receptionist (who is always there) can see you and let you in. Maybe a single older woman might find that a little too intense neighbouhood-wise but for a couple even older I would say it is fine, and for any young person it is fine.β
