“We had our corporate Christmas event at Ansty Hall, and I couldn’t speak highly enough of our experience. We had James in the daytime who was absolutely fantastic and so attentive. He was extremely likeable and also very helpful and flexible when it came to changing the time of our lunch, and providing general assistance with setting up the day. The evening part was equally well managed by Desmond, delaying courses whilst we finished our quiz rounds without us even having to ask. Overall it was brilliant!”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Good heating and facilities, and plenty secure parking. EV charging points would be a great addition. Recommend a stay.”

“I came for an overnight stay and was wowed as soon as I got there. It was lovely. Beautiful decor and room was a fantastic size. The spa was so relaxing and the food afrom the bar and restaurant was delicious. Had a bath in the room which was fab. Breakfast was all great quality products. Staff were friendly and professional. Cant wait to cisit again. The only downside was 1 of the beds mattress protector had a stain and the pillow was a little dirty but it did not ruin our stay at all staff were very accommodating”

“Stayed at the Novatel BHX airport. Rooms were cold even when you turned the heating up but other than that the service and location were fantastic, straight across from the airport terminal. Had food in the hotel restaurant and Mukesh looked after us. He was amazing and friendly and couldn't have done more. Thank you.”

“We had great service from the Indian staff at the bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely with lighting and decor, the room was modern & lovely. The toilet was clean, but I think they forgot to decorate that. Herman in the restaurant was fantastic and went beyond & over on his service, a rising star in our opinion. We had a curry, and it was fantastic, giving some Indian restaurants a run for their money.”

“Had a fantastic stay at Moxy Birmingham! We were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail on check-in a very funky touch :) The room was spotless, quiet, and very spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed. I also loved that I could connect my phone to the TV and stream my own shows the first hotel I’ve stayed in that made this so easy! Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, including fresh, warm pastries. The location is perfect for the NEC, so we’ll definitely be booking again next year. My only small critique would be the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room. There is a dedicated ironing room available, but I found myself ironing shirts at midnight just to make sure it was free having one in-room would make things even better.”

“Nadia the clinical pharmacist is excellent. She is extremly knowledgeable, explains things thoroughly and properly and genuinely cares for patients. She is a credit to the team at Longford.”

“Great service, lovely person. Managed to help me with an urgent issue regarding prescriptions and letter for travel. It was very urgent as it was last minute. He stayed behind and stayed open a bit longer despite the closing times, just to help solve my issue. Really appreciate it. Passion team, really recommend them.”

“I would like to say a massive thank you to vet Rod who saved my cat with his quick thinking and expertise. He was caring and kind at a time when I was sure that I was going to loose my beautiful pet. He went above and beyond to make him better and I will be forever grateful. I would recommend him to anyone and have complete faith in his knowledge and he is a great asset to Bell and partners. I would also like to thank Claire on reception who was very kind and also the practice manager.”

“​The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. ​The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. ​However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.”

“Poundland has always been a place to find bargains. The new app is exceptional and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I hope that this store is NOT on the list of closures recently announced. Pontypridd would be nothing without Poundland.”

“Since this place has reopened under new management the pub is so well run, staff are warm and welcoming, food is great,prices are really good and the pub itself is lovely and clean,been in a few times and always been met with a fantastic standard of service, 100% recommended a visit you won't be disappointed”

“I visited Sainsbury's early in the morning on way into Kenilworth. Its very clean and organised and there are lots of staff willing to help who are on shop floor organising the shelves. I also love the organic range that Sainsbury's sell and regularly pop in after work to get a few bargains at the end of a day. This store also has an Argos on the premises. There is plenty of parking and a great wine range too. I enjoy having this store and enjoy collecting nectar points.”

“Well after years of trying to find a top quality saug I went in and saw they sold Potters saug with out doubt the best saug on the market I eat those saug years ago if you see Potters saug try them”

“Have to go here for the post office which is always busy. The lady that now works there constantly is friendly helpful and alwaus a pleasure to see her smile.”

“The Premier Plus room was amazing. Large, it was well furnished, well lit yet calm, in tones of grey, with purple up lights above bed head and fulsome full length curtains at the long window. The bed was very large, extremely comfortable and had lovely white bedding. Hanging cupboard with full length mirror on the face. Alongside there is a lighted vanity mirror, hairdryer in a holder. Great for doing hair and makeup. Great desk, office chair. Table lamp and real coffee maker and kettle for tea. Wing easy chair with footstool to relax in watching wall TV. Rain and standard shower in the roomy bathroom. All very clean. Spotless. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful. Security locks on doors to access corridors to rooms. Good choice of cooked breakfast is served in adjacent stylish Bar+Block Steakhouse. I also had lunch there... delicious perfectly cooked rump steak and chips with salad. Again staff in here were very welcoming. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money too. You can be really comfortable here, located in the town centre, and with parking 5 minutes walk away, round the corner in multi story car park.”

“Fantastic value for money. £37 a night during the Summer holidays is brilliant, especially when it includes free parking and free WiFi. Very close to Birmingham Airport, National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Railway Station too. Room was quite impressive with an excellent bathroom and shower area and it had recent carpets and had just been painted as well.”

“The Jacobean Hotel is on the Holyhead Road going out of Coventry in the direction of Birmingham. The bar area is a lovely place to go to for eats and drinks and if you need to you can stay in the hotel too. The Jacobean is in very pleasant surroundings. If you decide to try the outside seating, you can see the countryside area called Coundon Wedge which is a lovely place to go to for a walk. There are wooded areas there, fields and a stream, all of which is beautiful. The Jacobean Hotel in this lovely area, is highly recommended.”

“We booked a three night Christmas break at this hotel through Great Little Breaks. Having read through some of the previous reviews I was a little concerned whether I’d done the right thing. However we couldn’t fault anything. We booked a deluxe double which overlooked the golf course and the food and amenities were excellent. Nothing negative to say.”

“We arrived very late at night after traveling. The desk clerk was very helpful and got us checked in quickly. The room was small but spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom. For me personally the bed was too firm, but that's personal choice as my husband found it comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I had two perfect fried eggs cooked fresh for me. I asked a young girl assistant if they did them. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff in the restaurant were lovely. All the offerings were tasty and fresh. On checking out another young man checked us out, again very efficient and pleasant.”

“Always is a pleasure to shop here for both me and my parents! The bad reviews are not true and probably biased. They treat customers with such great care! A few employees are amazing and go the extra mile, especially the young lady with glasses and orangey red hair, a blonde/brunette woman with her makeup bag in the No7 area who knows what she’s talking about when it comes to makeup and a young man who I haven’t seen in a while who wears a blue/black hat and has a beard One of the best department stores in the City Centre!”

“Boots Arena,Coventry- I would just like to say thank you to the young lady in Boots on Monday morning 4/8/25 at 9:05 am who was not only helpful in finding me an item out the back of the store but also being kind, pleasant and patient. It's rare for people to take the time these days to help find something and to spend a moment talking but she deserves a mention for efficiency, an excellent face of Boots and just for being a nice person so thank you and I hope her manager sees this. I'm only sorry I don't know your name!”

“An excellent shop, packed with plenty of items you need at very reasonable prices plus hundreds of items that you didn't know that you wanted or needed. Queues at the limited checkouts can be long but the staff are both friendly and helpful.”
