“I couldn’t recommend Muddy Paws more. My dogs have been going there for both day care and boarding for years. They love it there, and have the best time! Lucy and Em really care about dogs, and are fantastic with them. They go out of their way to help you too!!! One time we got stuck on holiday because of flight delays, and they picked up extra food and kept the dogs for longer. I’ve used over days cares, but Muddy Paws are by far THE BEST!!”

“The Swansea Cats Protection Charity shop is now closed. Head office announced it was to close as it didn't fit their "model" of paid manager run shops, therefore losing the branch vital income. Subsequently they "sacked" members of the swansea committee and all the volunteers resigned. They have now regrouped and started their own charity, Swansea Cats and kittens and opened a shop at 70 St Helens Road to fund their vital work.”

“The vet who seen my Sammy (Syrian hamster) today was so lovely very kind compassionate and totally understanding. Although it was sadly to late for my hamster the lady couldn't of helped me more thank you”

“I’ve had assistance from a few members of staff and all in all so lovely. But a HUGE shout to Tina! She had helped me completely 180 flip my pond that was in a horrific state after purchasing a home with a pond. Helped me with filters and helped me understand how to care for the pond as a beginner. We saw a fish that had been missed by previous home owners so I came and got it some friends, found another fish in the pond. Then got another load shortly after (having 11 total) but sadly many of them passed and we couldn’t figure out why until I noticed the ‘filter’ in the pond was just a pump so the poor fish where swimming in their own filth being pumped around. One fish passed within 24 hours of buying it so I came back and they were so kind and replaced it for me. My fishies are now thriving and I love coming to the store and speaking with them all. Always get asked how it’s doing which is so lovely. Attached are a before and a couple of after! HUGE difference. Still algae which is fine but a whole lot better and I’m thrilled! All thanks to Tina’s knowledge and patience with me”

“Very good with my dog and they have always been caring when we went, she was recently spayed in which went very well, she has a neat small scar and they were happy with her recovery and check up appointments. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Only issue is they send the reminder texts for the dog flea treatment on a Sunday and the phone lines are closed so would be good for a voice mail or email to reorder them.”

“Stopped in to purchase and get advice around preparing home for a kitten and was not disappointed. There is a wide selection of food, accessories, equipment and bedding for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and fish. I got a cat bed on sale for less than £20 which was cheaper than B&M nearby. The food is competitive on price with supermarkets and discount stores. As well as the advice given was an encouragement to download the app as a first time customer and receive a 20% discount. Very appreciated and will shop here again.”

“I stayed here with my family and couldn’t of been happier with the choice. The staff from start to finish were amazing very helpful, cheerful and positive. I’m terrible at remembering names but every single one of the staff were positive nothing to say negative towards them, easy to find our rooms and ours was spot on. We went down on Halloween and in our room was a bag of sweets and a nice little card so the kids loved both the sweets (obviously) and the card as a nice gesture, the kids will remember this little detail I would highly recommend to stay here and I will be when visiting family again”

“I recently stayed at Village Hotel Swansea, and it’s genuinely one of the best hotels in the city. The entire place is exceptionally neat and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of my favourite things is the Starbucks on the ground floor — such a nice touch! They also have EV charging stations available in the parking area, which is extremely convenient. Overall, I absolutely love this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Swansea.”

“Very welcoming. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Food was good and there was a vast breakfast selection. Housekeeping tho did knock twice in morning they we had late checkout booked which they were not aware of.”

“This was a great hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed it every morning. There is also a cute outdoor area to sit closer to nature. The snacks from the bar were also delicious. The only small obstacle is that the hotel does not have an elevator however their staff help you carry your luggage up the stairs. the rooms are great, spacious and with plenty of commodities.”

“Great place to stay. Amanda and Dave, on the front desk, gave excellent service. Got checked in quickly, including sorting out parking to ensure I wasn't charged. They gave info on the opening times of the other services facilities and if I had any problems that they were there to assist. Bedrooms were clean and fresh, and had that freshly deep cleaned smell. The facilities overall are a bit worn with age, but nothing severely damaged, and it wouldn't take much to get these small things sorted. But this didn't detract from my stay. Certainly a place I would look forward to using again, after a long day of work and driving.”
