“Staff so friendly. Slight mistake with our order (dine in), but it was easily sorted. Word of advice, the portions are pretty big, be careful when you order. Food was good too. If I'm ever back in Cardiff again, I'll stop by.”

“This branch of Boots never fails to impress me. The customer care is exceptional. The product I was looking for was not on the shelf. I asked a young assistantt who advised me it was his first day. He immediately went to find a senior member of staff. Great first day young man, you were fab as was your collegue who was super helpful. Thank you both, great customer facing service”

“Cosy store in cosy location. Feels very friendly. However, it seems there's a slight problem with management. I picked up a tub of yoghurt and it spilled all over me.. it was open!! Also, in the big water section, there were no multi pack of normal water, only individual bottles.”

“I have been with Richard and Vale Vets for the last 10 years and I have had nothing but a great service throughout those years. More recently this past December my dog Lexi who is now 13 years old went in for a general check of health, but Richard discovered a mass growing in her stomach. It was not looking good for Lexi as she was an older dog. We didn't know how she was going to react to surgery, we didn't know whether or not she would survive the anesthetic and we did know how much of the mass had integrated into the rest of her body. We made the decision to go ahead with the surgery to give Lexi the best chance of surviving. Richard and his team went above and beyond to care for Lexi and I could never have asked for a greater group of people to care for her. Somehow Richard managed to remove a two kilogram mass from Lexi, Lexi only being 18 kilogram to start with. The surgery was successful and Lexi had come out of the anesthetic. We went in to the surgery to meet with Richard and to see Lexi for the first time, we were given all of the options where it was a 50/50 chance whether or not Lexi would survive the night and we made the decision that we would care for her at home regardless of the outcome, which we had the full support of Richard and his team and again I echo that they were amazing and went above and beyond their job and they there responsibilities. Richard didn't have to do this but he kept in touch with me. He was about to go on holiday with his family, but he kept in touch with me all the way through the night to make sure that Lexi was still going strong. Lexi made it through the night. Lexi was back at the surgery the next day to have a check up, watching her walk back into the building was one of the proudest things I've seen that old dog do. She was greeted with affection from everybody and by this time everybody had heard the story of Lexi and everyone was truly amazed that she had pulled through what was a horrific surgery. We are now three months on and Lexi is doing better than ever. She is running around with our kids, still thinking she is still a puppy. Lexi would not be here if it wasn't for Richard and the team at Barry Vale Vets. We could never thank you all enough.”

“Bedroom perfectly comfortable and clean but could do with attention to dated window frames that allowed a little cold in. However, along with a standard radiator a freestanding electric one is supplied. Communal areas of reception, the bar and dining hall are all very tasteful. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff who are so obliging and friendly. A super breakfast with friendly staff sets each day off perfectly. The evening meals are of a very high standard all served with a pleasant rapport. We may have arrived curtesy of a bargain coach holliday but were treated like we arrived in a Bentley.”

“Kathy & her staff are excellent, make you feel very welcome. Do not let the cost fool you. Personally I’ve stayed in other establishments that have cost a lot more & haven’t measured up to anywhere near to what the Parklaneguesthouse does. Your room is cleaned every day, fresh towels every day & coffee & tea topped up every day. The entire place is spotless. It’s that great a place, cost & facilities, that I walk for 45 minutes in morning to get to work. Do not pass bye. Stephen”

“The store I visited was excellent; however, there was a significant issue with the lack of lighting around it during the night. This made it quite challenging to navigate the area, and there was a risk of tripping and injuring oneself. It would be highly beneficial for the store management to address this safety concern by improving the lighting in the surroundings. Other than that, the store itself provided a great shopping expe”

“Very good family run kennels ,clean ,warm ,separate sleeping rooms from the runs ,very friendly ,been using Gilcoru for many years ,and had no problem ,my dog loves them .”
