βWe have been using Peel Vets for over 25 years in both Hornsea and Beverley. We have always been highly satisfied with the service our dogs and rabbits have received. Friendly and helpful staff. Update - the practise has been extremely helpful and efficient with 2 issues requiring referral to specialist veterinary services.β
βAll staff polite, friendly and helpful. Really lovely atmosphere between staff. I now bring all my pets here. It maybe a little more expensive but well worth it for their experience and family feel. I have since recommended to all my friendsβ
βBest vets in the area by far nothing is to much for these people.β
βGreat care all round from Medivet Patrington. Paul has cared for my dog Herbie for 9 years now and always shows empathy and the gives the best advice for him. Would never go anywhere elseβ
βFrom reception to Paula the excellent vet would highly recommend Eastfield vets . Really friendly staff nice clean clinic a pleasure to attend there with my pets . Reasonable prices too thank you for looking after my pets.β
βVet Lukasz is brilliant, very experienced and friendly. All the staff in Brigg are nice and comforting to. Ive had bad experiences at other vets. Would definitely recommend.β
βPoppy doesn't like to be left with you but is always very happy afterwards. Great job. Would recommend wholeheartedly.β
βFirst time at this groomers & what a fab experience. Hannah was lovely & gave HAL a super groom, he looked & smelled fabulous afterwards & especially was pleased how his beard was styled to maintain the length but get rid of the matts. No being made to feel bad for allowing a few matts to build, as I've experienced elsewhere. Loved this place, only difficulty was parking. I'd definitely be back but have noticed there's one of their parlours just round the corner from home, saving travel & time off work. This was well worth the money, very pleased with service & result. Thankyou ladies & apologies for his woofing when he was having to wait in the pen for the bath!β
βMan goes above and beyond for his customers, need something but he hasn't got it in? He'll order it. Missed your delivery? He'll try again later in the night, always have a good laugh when i go to get some cat litter/ food and prices are reasonable he doesnt profit majorly off things like say pets at home do he runs that business to help people not rob them, by far THE best pet shop in this town! Thank you man for being a human not a machine!β
βThe girls at Noah's Ark are lovely, very efficient and their grooming skills are the best. My Lola goes every 3 months and she loves it, which gives me peace of mind about leaving her for her session. She even came out with a xmas neckerchief on last week, looking very festive. None better, highly recommended.β
βEasy to find, lovely staff, Rosie smells and looks amazing. And they even brought her out to me so I didn't have to get the little one out of the car seat :)β
βWhat a lovely person! We found what we thought was a dead kestrel on it's back, wings outstretched not moving. The ground beneath it totally frozen. We picked the bird up with a towel and brought it in to try and warm it in a box near a radiator. After ringing several places to try and get help, Ren's were the only ones to offer to take the bird. The kestrel had come round at this point, but we were able to transport safely in a box to the Wildlife Hospital. So good to know that there are charities like this that will help - whilst no help at all from the larger animal charities. So thank you so much for your help. I know this charity is struggling for funds, so if you can donate, any amount will help - please do. They also have shops in Hull town Centre and Holderness Road, so if you can spare any good quality items please consider them for your donations.β
βAbsolutely lovely stay. Beautiful furnishings throughout the house (we had a peek in other vacant rooms), the owner was lovely and responded quickly to a request made after my booking, and an excellent sleep. Will be looking forward to another night's stay.β
βAfter reading previous reviews and worrying about previous comments, I can honestly say our experience was far more relaxed and positive. Lovely location in a very quiet village. The weekend was fairly quiet even with nearly all the pitches taken. It wasn't rowdy, which if I'm honest I was expecting this from the comments, everyone seemed respectful on our stay. The pub food was amazing value for money and tasted really nice. If your looking for activities you will have to travel away from the campsite to the local towns, we travelled to Goole to the shops and free museum, good for young children. I think if your looking for a site just to relax, this would be the one and if you like to have a drink in the evening and a game of pool they have a small cosey pub on site. Showers are very nice and clean and to be honest the Β£1 per 2 minutes on the machine actually helps keep the queues down at the showers, not once did I need to queue and I showered every morning. It was a bank holiday weekend at the end of April, The Manager was present a lot over the weekend doing general maintenance on the site which definitely shows well as it seemed well kept when we stayed. I honestly wouldn't let the reviews put you off. It's worth at least experiencing once! If you have young children it may be best to bring more activities along with you as my daughter got a little bored but only because other campers went out for the day and she was alone, there is a small children's park for the kids though. I'd say that's the only thing missing is some daytime entertainment at the pub to bring everyone together. However the manager has his reasons for not opening during the day which is understandable. It may be a nice idea to open a small grocery shop on site? Not sure if this has been thought about but would be handy to be able to buy a few bits on site instead of driving out but again probably the cost that would be involved may put the owner off doing so. Again totally understandable. My mum came to stay in the little rooms with ensuites that have availability, which was nice and cosy. So if you have friends who won't camp, it's ideal for them to book a room instead! All in all it was a pleasant stay. We would definitely come back in the near future if we want a relaxing break. Also the pitch we camped on was very well sheltered and the manager said he usually puts tents in this area. On other sites we usually feel the wind on the tent slot but this site we barely felt the tent moving in higher winds because it's very well sheltered! Big bonus and good for first time campers who don't want to be put off.β
βExcellent service.Same day appt made by friendly receptionist who put us at ease . Warm welcome on arrival . Vet was professional and friendly and listened to our concerns.Talked us through everything as he examined or dog. Very caring towards us all. Options given and treatment plan in place . Definately recommendβ
βWe got married here on Halloween and it was the most beautiful day I've ever had. The staff were amazing. They were so kind and helpful and supportive. Everybody that we spoke to were just amazing. I cannot fault anybody or anything. It was perfect.β
βGot a Quick appointment the vet was great talked us through the process & diagnosis felt very reassured.β
βWe loved it. The Landlady was very friendly and allowed us to check in early as we were going to a wedding. The room was well equipped with traditional fittings you would expect in a period building. Our room was very spacious with tea and coffee facilities and porridge if you fancy a light bite in the morning. The other staff were also friendly and helpful and one of the main things was the cleanliness. It is located on the main street so a good spot for sampling the local market town facilities. Pubs, cafes restaurants and craft shops. I would highly recommend the Londesborough for a trip to Market Weighton and can easily be used as a hub for discovering the surrounding villages and countryside. A big thank you for a great stay!β
β(Note: this review is from John , Janβs husband, as Jan was bed bound at the time). Our Bearded Collie, Maisie, was taken (terminally as it as found) ill at teatime on a Friday. The receptionist managed to fit her in at 5.30 that evening. Sadly, she had to be pts and the procedure was carried out in a faultless kindly manner. When it was all over I was left on my own with Maisie, and a box of tissues, for as long as I needed. After settling the bill the receptionist asked me to be careful driving home. I couldnβt ask for more. Thank you.β
βReally nice overnight stay in this small, yet modern village hotel. Didn't eat at night and breakfast was basic, but fine. Drinks very cheap in the bar. Under Β£4.50 for a pint these days is unheard of!β
βAcconodating, friendly staff always helpful.β
βGreat practice been with them many years from puppyhood to old age RIP with several dogs. Super, friendly, helpful professional staff. Hope the loss of the joke board is just a temporary mistake by the corporate owners. Bring back the joke board.β
βBeen a long time customer for all the right reasons. Friendly staff always looking to fit us in at our convenience. Effective treatments. Enid is well cared for by Medivet.β
βI will be honest with you, if I was looking for a relaxing spa day or two I wouldn't emediately look to Scunthorpe as my location destination of choice. But here we landed. This place is off of a main road and then off of a minor road and you then turn off of that to arrive at Sawcliffe Manor, we stayed in the rose cottage. Its beautiful and full of quaint English farm house charm. Everything is clean and fully equipped to be home from home, that is if your house has a Aga creating the cosiest of kitchens. Then we get to use the spa, this is pure luxury wonderful products to cleanse and refresh every part of you. We had a 10 month old baby with us, he loved all the water play and swinging seats as well as the baby massage lotions. We took loads of photos of all three of us smiling from ear to ear but as we are a foster family so can't share photos on any social platforms. This was a lovely place to spend a day or twoβ
βTook my six month old English springer spaniel puppy for her first trim today, what a lovely job the grooming team did, she looked stunning when I came to collect her. I was impressed with the professionalism of all who work there and I had no qualms about leaving my dog in their capable hands. I will be using their services again.β
βCute individual cafe. Excellent service from a very polite lady and man. I had the lasagna which was very tasty and plentiful. I've visited twice and will definitely visit again. The prices were very reasonable.β
βAbsolutely amazing response from Andrews HH Hospital. I contacted them as i found a very poorly hog and left a message on the Ansa phone. A charming lady called me back and made arrangements to see my find. I had contacted several other HH rescues and this was the one that called me back. They removed ticks, tested a stool sample and then took the hog off my hands. They were knowledgeable, friendly and massively overworked. I'm donating to their charity right now. AMAZING PEOPLE.β
βLovely, brand new aquatics shop with plenty of choice! Very friendly and down to earth service from Scott! He was more than happy to order in additional fish on request! Will definitely be visiting again!β
βCan highly recommend Bark and Sparkle for all dog grooming requirements. Our Cocker Spaniel is very hyperactive and rarely sits still but with Kates patients sheβs groomed to perfection. She loves her trips to the doggy salon and I wouldn't want to take my dog anywhere elseβ¦β¦..5***** all the wayβ
βJust had a couple of nights at primrose cottage and must say it was absolutely amazing. Well equipped with everything and more than you could think of including a lovely welcome basket. The cottage was immaculate inside and outβ
