βGreat coffee stop with fabulous views of the embankment. Reasonable prices and great customer service! Thanks so much!β
βFive stars for their Pride Park operation. The team there saved my partner's dog's life. I genuinely don't know what is going on with their Wollaton branch. It looks a cluttered mess and seems to be permanently shut? Why? If it is closed for a reason, at least keep it tidy, as it has your company name all over it, and it does you absolutely no favours leaving it like that.β
βSarah is incredible. She takes great care of your furbaby and grooms them expertly. Tilly (see below) loves her visits and always looks amazing - and smells fantastic - after her 'pamper'. Cannot recommend highly enough!β
βClean, quiet, good facilities, and close to town centreβ
βThis pharmacy is an essential part of our village community. Very efficient service by the most caring and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble they go out of their way to helpβ
βStocked up on all of Joeys fish treats today.Fantastic range of products that I canβt get anywhere else for Joey! He canβt have lots of foods & fish is a perfect treat for him. Thanks Nat & George for all your great advice & guidance!β
βTracy is very welcoming and offer a cup of tea while you wait. I was on foot and donβt drive. My frenchies smell fresh and softβ
βThe friendly staff did a lovely job with our little schipoo. We couldn't get an appt for about 7 weeks. I can see why. They're good at what they do. They were also super helpful in trying to book us in sooner by calling us when there had been cancellations. Definitely recommend Waggy Tails.β
βFriendly staff, vet explained everything clearly. And I was allowed in the surgery with my cat.β
βLovely family run business . Exceptionally good quality items . Brought a lead and collar and visited store in person , great customer service aswell.β
βFirst visit and couldn't not have received a better service. Thank you, Priory Vets. You were wonderful with my fur babies.β
βHad a lovely stay! Itβs a short walk from the city center and the shops there which is pretty convenient, very close to the airport as well. The apartment was everything I needed and the kitchen proved to be very useful! Everything is renovated and well organized, would recommend to everyone staying in Castle Donington!β
βMy brother hired this for a week for an extended family gathering. I adored the place, unspoilt, it felt so homely. Loads of space and exciting just to explore the building. The pictures on the wall are great too. Huge dining table for 20 and absolutely loved my bedroom with chaise longue, an extra room with a writing table. I shall dream about this place for many a day and night. And as well, just down the road is The Jug and Glass which serves a perfect pint of Marston's Pedigree.β
βI do tend to write reviews, both good and bad. Check out my other reviews. I try hard to be fair. I rarely use superlatives because superlatives are rarely deserved. Not in this case. This place is superb. We booked into the Garden Suite which itself was exceptional for the price. However, unexpectedly, the larger suite was available and Peter the perfect host suggested we have a look. Wow! A little more expensive than the Garden Suite but frankly Peter could have charged twice that differential and I would still have taken the larger suite. Over two floors. Ground floor has a dinning table exclusive to the suite and where breakfast is served. There was also a baby Grand Piano to add to the palatial feel. Upstairs is huge. Very tastefully decorated in an Asian style with tasteful and interesting fixtures and fittings. It really 'worked'. There was a large and comfortable lounge area, a very comfortable and large double bed with tiger tripe bed set that managed to look classy rather than tacky. The view from the bed through some 'designer' Asian theme trees framing what seemed an endless English countryside at its best view accross a gold course. An ample and spotlessly clean bathroom in the middle and another bed and lounge area, a little smaller but very much complimentary and in sympathy with the overall look and feel. Another small balcony looking onto the front garden area, some private parking exclusive to The Lodge and then accross the road to a school and beyond. I stood on that balcony for over fifteen minutes at around 9:30pm and not one car passed by. It was so quiet. We had an adequate evening meal at the pub five minutes down the road. We were able to specify specific breakfast requirements by texting Peter. The breakfast was fresh cooked and served and as good as any breakfast I have had anywhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Peter! Steve.β
βAlways absolutely fantastic! I have used Rainworth dog groomers every month for nearly 4 years with my Yorkshire terrier. Kay is polite, understanding and very welcoming with every appointment. I know my Yorkie is being taken good care of, he always comes back looking 1000/10 and happy after his grooms. Great prices and I trust her with my little baby 100%. Will always recommended Kay. Amazing women, amazing business!!!β
βLovely people who work there are you doing flu injectionsβ
βI highly recommend Heavenlys Animal Hotel in Jacksdale. I recently boarded my dog, Blu, there for a week while I was on holiday, and he had a wonderful time. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and they really went above and beyond to make sure that Blu was comfortable and happy. His suite was spacious and clean, and he had plenty of room to play and run around. He also had his own private outdoor patio, which he loved. The staff looked after Blu and played with him every day. I was so grateful to know that Blu was in good hands while I was away. I could tell that he was having a great time, and I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday without having to worry about him. I would definitely recommend Heavenlys Animal Hotel to anyone looking for a safe and loving place to board their pet.β
βWe needed to find a local Dog Groomer to look after our slightly nerves, year old Shih Tzu cross, who has some allergy issues and needs to use a medicated shampoo. My wife is picky and would trust our little boy to just anyone, It was our Vet who recommended we try Hair off the Dogs. After a telephone consultation, Becky agreed to take Polo for his next bath and clip. He was collected a few days later at a time to suit us and returned later that afternoon. He has never looked so good, or seemed so relaxed and happy after a visit to the grooming salon. We love the fact he is free to run around the garden and has a quiet area in the salon, where he can get out of the way when he wants to. We highly recommend Hair off the Dogs at Gotham, to anyone who wants a happy well groomed dog!β
βReally pleased with the service . I purchased a washer and a tumble dryer super fast delivery and brilliant-quick installation of my washing machine by Calvin. Reasonable prices and great customer service . Definitely buy from there again .β
βFeeling lots better after a scary few days thank you all so much for helping my baby girlβ
βReally impressed with this Radisson. The hotel feels clean, modern, and well-kept. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. What truly stood out was the service β the staff were so helpful and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Christos, who made our mealtime extra special and went above and beyond to look after our children. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he really made us feel welcome. Weβll definitely be using this hotel again when flying from East Midlands. Highly recommended.β
βWas recommended this pub by a friend and love it. 4 flat ciders on today.β
βLovely friendly greeting on arrival. Room very tastefully done. Good size comfy bed. I prefer the thiner quilt which was on as normally too hot in bed. Slept very well. I think they have banished the sensor light as we never encountered it. Slept like a log. Fridge in room with water, large orange juice and fresh milk . We had drinks in the very cosy bar that evening. Will be fabulous at Christmas time in sure. Bar staff amazing, very chatty and helpful and great choice drinks. We ate in the bar as restaurant was empty. It was a Tuesday night so not usually a busy time. We both thoroughly enjoyed our plates and i complemented the chef as been a while since ive had such good food anywhere. We scoffed the lot. Breakfast is continental and you do collect it the night before but we preferred this as could chill in bed all morning and eat at our leisure. We had 6 different types of danish pastries, croissants and choice of jam . Cereals, yogurt and bananas. Missed toast but i can live with that. Tea n coffee in room. Bed n breakfast for 1 night was a bargain at under Β£100 and thoroughly worth it. Will be coming again soon . Caroline and Matt Xxβ
βVery nice relaxing stay, rooms high standard and clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was incredibly hot in the room and the windows only opened a fraction. It's also a great location being only a few minutes walk from city centre bars and restaurants.β
βWe are struggling to put into words how perfect Cockliffe is as a wedding venue. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the location - everything about Cockliffe is second to none. A massive shout out to Emilie who was our wedding coordinator, nothing ever seemed too much trouble, her personal support was greatly appreciated and we were sad to see her leave at the end of her shift on our big day! From our initial booking, to the online portal, the tasting evening to our big day - everything was faultless and easy to navigate. All the staff are so lovely and always smiling, the help with our decorations and the way they set them out was brilliant. The exclusivity of the venue was executed seamlessly, they have the operation down to a fine art, you truly wouldn't know that there are weddings the day before or after your own. A big factor for us was having a dog friendly venue and Cockliffe definitely is, they are so welcoming and even have a dog friendly room so our boy could be there for the whole day. We booked the rooms out for our guests to stay and they all commented on how spotless and wonderful they were. Our day was honestly perfect and we have to give a lot of the credit to Cockliffe and all the staff, we would recommend the venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Goodwinβ
βAttended this conference centre for a few years now for an army reunion they always do a great job and look after us all Great service and very large roomsβ
βStayed here loads of times and never had a problem. It's location is very central and it's cheap. Some of the rooms are better than others but it's only somewhere to sleep. The staff are very polite and helpfulβ
βWe have been so impressed with and grateful for the care provided by this practice especially for our rabbit, Nutmeg. He has had ongoing dental issues for over a year now and Kara has consistently delivered expert care with respect and patience throughout. Itβs rare to find a local vet with the level of knowledge and attention she brings to exotic pets. Kara went above and beyond for us and our rabbit, even finding us a specialist hospital for referral who could do a CT and perform a complex surgery when his symptoms progressed too far for treatment here. We cannot thank Kara and the rest of the team enough. We also really appreciate that the practice is open on weekends and we have never struggled to get an emergency appointment.β
βVery caring nature, always puts your pet first. Considers the cost implications of the customer. We have been taking our pets there for the last fifteen years.β
βThey saw my dog immediately after she was attacked by another dog. The staff were so caring and kind. Really helped after such a stressful situation. Would highly recommend.β
