βBeen to this hotel a few times now. Love the location, great for a middle point for shopping and Rock City. There's an Irish lady who works in the pub who has a lovely personality and makes me feel at ease when ordering. I do not know her name, but will make a point of asking next time .β
βVery good and honest owner. Iβll definitely recommend and book again for my family or friends visiting Nottingham. The location is nice as well. I booked a room last minute for someone else but they didnβt need it in the end. After communicating with the owner, he kindly accommodated my cancellation request without any charge even though it was non-refundable when I booked it.β
βOutstanding service and support from the Optometrist and staff after recent cataract operation . Very thorough, courteous and provide detailed explanations on all my questions. Brilliant people in storeβ
βWe have used Oak House for a few years now and they are consistently brilliant. Always there if you're in need or have an emergency and appts are easily accessible. The reception staff are friendly and easy to talk to and you are always greeted warmly. We were so greatful for the way the veterinary surgeons treated our old rescue cat, she had quite a few health problems but they looked after her like one of their own. Even when she passed, she was treated with such respect and dignity and was well cared for, they really understood what we were going through. Since then they have looked after our new rescue kittens perfectly and, again, been fantastic. Never overcharge or add unnecessary charges and always check with you before going ahead with procedures etc to ensure it is within your means. Couldn't recommend highly enough!β
βAmazing staff very friendly helpful 5**β
βLovely Ladies and our dog looks great when they have clipped her and her coat is amazing when she is done. Highly recommendedβ
βMy dog went here for a week and she was well cared for and looked after, both management and staff was very reassuring when I contacted them about my dog. Very pleased with this service and would highly recommend to anybody.β

βNice friendly staff. Very prompt with prescriptionsβ
βWhenever I find myself in Newark this is the place to stay, close enough to the center and has ample parking. Rooms are clean and warm, the staff always make you feel welcomeβ
βMy son was complaining about earache and as it was late, we came to this pharmacy before it closed. The staff were all very kind and the pharmacist was very patient in explaining everything to me. When I bought some Calpol to give him some pain relief, he was crying and sobbing. But the staff comforted him and we got him to take the Calpol. He had a good nap after and didn't complain of any pain for the rest of the evening. Thank you so much to all of the staff, you're all very kind. Highly recommend coming here for help and advice.β
βGood hotel stay, clean room no staff on site though.β
βGreat wholesaler with a huge choice for your business. The staff are friendly and location knowledgeable. Always a good variety and great pricesβ
βThank you to Daniella and the team at East Midlands, we were going to Loughborough for the English YTP and looked at lots of local hotels, but the service, rooms and breakfast couldn't have been better anywhere else. The beds really are so comfortable, but bring your own pillow! Thank you, we'll be back!β
βI booked a room because I was arriving late into the Airport. The weather in the Algarve was horrendous with roads closed. So I decided not to fly.I had missed my free cancellation period with Booking, but a great staff member (Jermaine) actioned a free refund for me. Great customer service. I will return in January to your hotel.β
βProper old school pub with quality ales. Friendly staff and nice localsβ
βWe ventured in for the first time and were pleasantly surprised to see fresh modern decor and receive a very warm welcome from the man behind the bar . Place was clean , served quickly with affordable pricing . Polite and friendly bar person serving what we craved most which was a positive atmosphere . We will be returning .β
βStayed for one night at the end of October. We arrived slightly late but had stayed in contact with the staff beforehand so they knew. Arrived and phoned the number, a man came out within 30 seconds and let us through the gate. We were in pitch 2, right at the top of the site, and were camping in our car, which we'd been told was unusual multiple times! But it worked very well! Easy site access for us, the facilities were nice and clean and easy to use too, we'd paid for access to electrics as well as all services and definitely glad we did so. Great location, nice and quiet, would revisit.β
βA charming old style British Inn. Found them through Booking.com. Came to Southwell for the wedding of a friend and needed a place to stay. The hotel is located in the middle of Southwell. It has a beautiful old-style exterior and is very quaintly decorated on the inside. The room itself was also clean, tidy, spacious and nicely furnished. The staff including reception as well as the waiters during breakfast were friendly, helpful and lovely. An interesting tidbit about the place is that itβs been around since the 17th Century and Charles II, the English King sought refuge here. Overall I had a great experience here and should I ever be staying in Southwell again I will definitely be booking a room here!β
βBeen here for breakfast this morning and it was lovely, the ladies serving were very nice, I would highly recommendβ
βPleasant looking hotel from the outside which is situated 2 miles from the centre of Nottingham easy to drive with plenty of parking in the area. Entered reception, quick and easy booking in, and simple directions to the room, hotel was clean, tidy and pleasant decor. Restaurant with a simple menu catering for coeliacs, vegetarian and grass munchers, separate bar and lounge for relaxing in the evening with comfortable seating. Room was a double room, better suited to a single occupant. Double bed, large 48in Smart TV, coffee and tea facilities with limited coffee, tea bags and sugar, hair dry (not needed on this visit as I have little to no hair) iron and ironing board. Room itself was at the rear of the building which ment being away from the road facing a quiet residential estate and was peaceful unable to hear any road noise. Bedside table on both sides with a small dressing table with stool. There was a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging clothes (limited hangers) I would consider bring some from home. Small functional en-suit bathroom with shower and a good constant source of hot water and you didnβt need to run around in the shower to get wet. Toilet and sink with small hand and bath towels provided. Breakfast included served in the dining room, this is a full English with, Fried and scrambled eggs, button mushroom, hash browns, sausage, bacon, baked beans. The usual assortment of cerealβs, fruit, orange juice, various teas available (including herbalβ & coffee, self help with toast. Breakfast is self service. Menu simple to navigate with the usual GASTRO type food available at reasonable prices. Staff were all very helpful, curious, plate and respectful, nothing was too much of a problem. Plenty of parking to the rear of the premises for cars. I stayed for 4 nights on business, main doors close at 11pm however if your a night owl your door keycard gains you access to the hotel through the reception entrance giving you a little freedom in the evenings. The hotel have free WiFi which was accessible even from the room at the back (RM 38). My only gripe was I needed a team of sharpers and oxygen for the long climb to the room, I as a little dizzy and threw myself on the bed. It is highly probably I will be in the area again in the near future and have requested my Company book me that hotel again. Very pleasant place highly recormended.β
βThe staff were so lovely and welcoming, shared bathrooms were nice and clean. Rooms were very comfy, had a great nights stay. Location is very good too itβs walking distance from most attractions and close to car parks too. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend!β
βGood location, close to the university and in a fairly safe area. Building looks a bit dated or has an old-school charm, depending on whether you like that sort of thing. No trouble with serviceβ
βMe and my daughter stayed here recently and we had a great time the food was amazing the room was so nice the staff are such friendly people it was great chatting with the staff while we stayed in the Sun Inn. It was busy with the football being on but the atmospheric was amazing. βMy wife recently purchased Braun Skin i-expert from this store. But she found some scratches in one of the standard head . We went back to have it exchanged and were lucky to be served by Angela R from electrics department. She was extremely helpful, kind and professional in dealing with her queries and concerns. Inspite of the IPL machine being used for a month, she was kind enough to exchange it for us. We highly recommend this store and especially Angela R. Thank you very much. Xxβ
βHuge thank you to Dr Catherine & team for helping with the long and meticulous export process of getting our 3 fur-babies from the UK to Australia. By the end of the 6 month process we even had 2 out of 3 babies loving their visits! Thank you for your patience and compassion. We made it!β
βWe have been visiting for 4 years and always find the cut & finish to be of a great standard. The groomers are always friendly and accommodating of booking requirements. A recommended independent business.β
βVery good, convenient, easy access, parking, pleasant staff, knowledgeable, go here on a regular basis for my repeat prescription. A little expensive for the goods, but other than that, Ok.β
