“We’ve just picked up our 5yo Boerboel from a long weekend at Downlands. Mikey is dog reactive and can be fairly fussy with people and I could not be happier with Andrew and the team. I called once a day to check in, and was reassured he was happy and in good hands. Upon collection he was very excited and had clearly had a good time. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be using them again.”

“Can strongly recommend Old Beams! The staff are wonderful: very accommodating and professional. The facilities are very clean, the dogs are happy and well looked after. Our dog had a quite precise medication schedule and the staff were knowledgeable and ready to deal with this—we came back to a very happy and healthy dog. “Good, local to us, veterinary practice. Have used for years with our various cats. Always a friendly greeting and prompt appointment booking and treatment. I have a Pet Health plan spreading the cost of annual jabs, flea and worm treatments. Appointment consultations and medications outside of these are priced separately and, fortunately, not needed very often as they cost more.”

“Leo frequently stays at Oakwood Park, staff are very friendly. Leo is away happy and healthy when we pick him up. There is a big green we always see dogs playing in.”

“Drove up from Portsmouth for 8am Monday to have a custom tail guard made for my car which I only purchased on the Friday. Such a warm welcome on arrival. Just over an hour the rear guard was made but not installed as it then had to be powder coated etc. Going back in a couple of weeks to have it fitted. I recommend this place 100%.”

“Great stay for a little escape from the busy London. Had a few meals at the Wild Carrot restaurant, everything was delicious, the dishes were full of flavour ( super recommend the duck breast and fish and chips ) and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef for such creativity and attention to detail. You can really taste the passion in every bite, Chef Tang was amazing!”

“Absolutely love this cattery. The whole place is clean, they are very accommodating and can send updates if you ask. You can bring your cat’s bed/toys/food but they can also provide pretty much everything. They are highly professional, very knowledgeable and take extremely good care of our furry friends. I had a (now deceased) senior cat who was very anxious and he always was looked after as if he was their own. They were so good to him. My two kittens are currently there for their first stay and my mind is at peace. I know they will look perfectly after them.”

“I stayed at the Village Hotel Bracknell for a few days and was genuinely surprised by how much I liked it. The room was spotless, modern, and felt warm rather than sterile like many chain hotels. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had that perfect water pressure you always hope for but rarely get. The staff were one of the best parts — everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful, not just polite because they had to be. Check-in was fast, and it felt like they actually cared about making things easy for guests. The bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere in the evening, and the food was really good. Breakfast the next morning was fresh, well stocked, and the coffee was surprisingly great. I also used the gym and pool — both clean, modern, and clearly well maintained. The location made it easy to get around, especially if you’re driving. It’s close to the motorway, has plenty of parking, and isn’t far from places like Windsor or Ascot. Overall, it’s one of those hotels where everything just works the way it should. Comfortable, friendly, and stress-free — I’d definitely stay again. Celine very nice and kind❤️”

“The entire process, from reception team, finance, the clinicians and all staff ( nursing included) made the difficult experience as stress free as possible. I don’t ever doubt being referred to the Ralph and i’ve been to a few other referrals before. There is no hesitation. Through a long battle of ups and downs with my boy Snow, some incredible surgeons and clinicians, he has a good quality of life that he wouldn’t have had-he quite literally wouldn’t be here without them. A holistic approach to veterinary medicine, taking into consideration not only the owners choice, and lifestyle, but the wider picture- all the while keeping the animals quality of life a priority. The team truly care about their patients. For snows care: To list a few and give my thanks: Heather Covey, Isla, Javier (Clinician) Eirini Pappa ( Surgeon) Heather S, Sarah G, Emma( Medicine nurse) Becky ( Internal medicine Nurse) Nieka The dentistry and Ophthalmology department, Azzura, for a few of my cats. Neurology department, Irene. Lizzie, Angie, Emma, Helen ( Reception, Finance/ admin). ( If I haven’t mentioned their names it’s just because i’m not great in remembering! But they have all been amazing). Thank you for everything that you have done and continue to do for my animals! A pet is a privilege. The costs are for expert care and specialists in their field, with a range of equipment and runnings costs behind the scenes. I appreciate everything the team does and continue to do for my animals, especially when it comes to Snow. I really hope that the staff are all compensated for what they do, whether that be in their opinions on the daily practice or their wages as they truly are incredible. ( In case any management are seeing this!)”

“Visited Heckfield Place for the second time this year, and the experience was every bit as impressive, if not more so, than our first stay last year. This place will always hold a special place in my wife and I’s hearts, and even objectively it stands out as one of the top-tier establishments we’ve ever stayed at. From the room quality and finishing to the food and breakfast offerings, every detail is beautifully executed. This time we had the privilege of dining at Hearth Restaurant, which was absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out; there wasn’t a single thing you could fault them for. We also loved walking around the lovely grounds, enjoying the afternoon tea and cake service, and relaxing with drinks in the intimate Moon Bar. Everything felt seamless, from the interiors to the setting to the hospitality. In short, Heckfield Place is exceptional in every sense, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.”

“Simon & Jason are celebrating 20 years since they opened the Wellington Arms & it's packed every day when open with regulars & new 'word of mouth' clients. 10 out of 10 for quality of food, service, atmosphere & beautiful garden & surroundings. Great menu & daily dishes that made it difficult to choose. I had the 2xbaked cheese souffle stacked with a mountain of finely grated parmesan & my friend had scallops (both simply the best) followed by perfectly cooked calves liver on a bed of mashed potato & leeks with pancetta & perfect mix of herbs then their home-made ice cream.”

“Our cat Tilly was taken to Larkmead after being attacked by a dog. Unfortunately, Tilly did not survive her injuries, but I believe that they did absolutely everything they could to save her. The staff at Larkmead were incredibly caring and very sympathetic in dealing with us. Lovely people.”

“I transferred to this vet around 4 or 5 years ago during a very stressful time with my cat (he was very sick) after I wasn't fully satisfied with the care at my previous vets. Honestly, it was one of the hardest years of my life, and they truly did all they could to help and support both my darling Finnian and myself. Sadly, I did lose him to an unknown illness, but I will always owe that extra year I got with him to this amazing group of people. He had to be put down in the early hours of the morning during lockdown and saying goodbye to him in the car park knowing how scared he must have been was the absolute worst thing but I know he was so loved and cared for by the team until the very end. I can not thank the everyone at Donnigton and Eastcot vets enough. I will continually proudly take all my pets to them, knowing they will always get the best care. You should all be very proud of what you are achieving, simply outstanding.”

“Firstly I’m so sorry I haven’t reviewed sooner. We’ve been taking our little dog here for the last two years and it’s always fabulous. Our dog can be a tad nervous but the team at Hair Off the Dog always make him feel at ease during nail clips and hair cuts! “I left my two ringneck parrots with Amanda for a week. She knows how worried I was as it was my first time leaving them. And i am really happy to find her. My birds loved the stay and Amanda looked after them so well. They were given fresh fruits, vegetables and their favourite treat as well. Pets safety is her first priority and im really pleased with her services offered. We are going to come back to her in future.”

“Had a really excellent experience there last week with my cat. The lady on the front desk was really friendly and helpful, and the vet was very caring and did a great job trying to figure out why my (terrified of the vet) cat was limping. Highly recommend.”

“Our staffy puppy Whisky was being sick all day yesterday so we called up and asked for an emergency appointment. Initially I felt like I was being over dramatic as was told that symptoms weren't serious so an 11:30 appointment would do, we showed up early anyway as this is our first puppy and we were very worried. Although I felt like the reception staff were annoyed by my actions as myself and my boyfriend felt this was quite evident by the way they spoke to me vet Oscar quickly calmed our concerns and we left with a happy healthy puppy. It's a shame that my feelings were invalidated and I was spoken to in a dismissive and curt manner but all in all we came out feeling quite positive and can totally understand why reception staff were annoyed by my actions.”

Helped with calming meds to make getting her into her appointments a bit easier. Always so keen to go the extra mile to make us owners and pets feel welcome and comfortable. Really a wonderful place.
