“This veterinary center is truly fantastic! The reception staff, vets, and nurses are all incredibly kind and welcoming. I come to this vet specifically even though I live much further away! In the past, I've had experiences where other vet clinics were hesitant to approach my dog just because he barked a few times and wanted to muzzle him. However, Crossroads gave us the time we needed during appointments to help my dog get used to the smells and gradually train him to feel comfortable with the vets. Thanks to their patience, my dog likes going to the vets. They really took the time to understand our needs and never judged us. They even support us by incorporating our own training techniques. They’re very thorough in identifying potential issues and always take the time to answer all of our questions. I’m so thankful for the Crossroads team—thank you!”

“Where to start ? The practise is welcoming, helpful and regardless of subject or concern the staff go over and above to help. They are honest in advise and the care of our pets has been exceptional. I would reccomend to everybody to use this practise they are simply the best.”

“We had a great room with nice and high ceilings. Towels, Tea / Coffee and fridge all provided. Super comfortable beds. Breakfast had to be pre-booked before 8pm but it was exceptional, the chef's service and food was perfect. Actually had one of my best hot chocolates ever! We had dinner the night before really large list of options fully catered for veggies and vegans which was great to see. Would recommend staying here and having some food too. Not much around for convenience shops so stop on the way in for what you may need.”

“Welcomed by member of staff and taken straight to table. Drinks offered immediately. Food very well presented and where applicable piping hot. Sausage and Mash and Fish and Chips both delicious. Seasonal vegetables well cooked. Prices seemed very reasonable for the Reading/Basingstoke area. Overall a very enjoyable lunchtime experience.”

“Spire Ridge have lovingly looked after our cat whenever we go away since he was a kitten. We were unsure about catteries based on the others we had visited, but then we found Spire Ridge which have amazing large indoor pens, where our boy is always happy and comfortable, and we can leave him there knowing he's getting the care and attention he needs whether we're just gone for a weekend or for a couple of weeks.”

“Chris felstead- I have been with him for 10 years. Other vets fail to correctly diagnose and their response to all appointments has been in leave in Overnight or carry out extortionate tests. 99% have failed to identify, where Chris has always recommended at home treatments where possible. I no longer have insurance since it was tripled with no explanation and no ongoing illnesses, and so all treatments are self funded. I really wish that veterinary practices were more fairly/reasonably priced, but understand that this is a huge money making industry. I am very nervous and sceptical about booking any other vet than Chris. Have standards / qualifications dropped in this field or do many no longer care? Perhaps their owning companies have set financial targets per appointment?”

“Treated my elderly dog Hollie (14) who had a stroke with expertise and care. Shout out to the lovely specialist who my dog absolutely adored! She's recovered nicely and hopefully we will have more than a few good years together to come ❤️”

She was taken to the vets by a local person and after scanning her chip, they called us to give us the sad news - everything was handled with amazing care and professionalism, and without charge hair clippings and a paw print taken. “Absolutely fantastic with my dog Bruno, he spent a whole day there to have his teeth done and on picking him up he was extremely calm and wagging his tail to say goodbye to everyone, staff where wonderful with him and contacted me a few times throughout the day. I was very impressed with their care including the reception staff, everyone fantastic.”

“Ashworth at Cove have always been amazing with our pets. Our Rottweilers, Roxy and Ellie loved visiting, our cats obviously not so much!! The staff there are all so kind and helpful and it’s always lovely to receive their condolences card when one of them goes off over the rainbow.”

“I and my family first went to vets when it was in Barnards Way Wantage. Over the years it became Medivets where it is now. I am now with my fifth Miniature Schnauzer. Since 1997. We found that over the years our vets have been there through good times and bad . We could not have made it without all your help and kindness. All our dogs have pulled to get in to see the Vets. “We have been taking our dogs to Two Left Paws since 2017, when they were the only groomers who were willing to look after and groom our disabled dog, as he had special needs. Since then, Kayla, Beanie and the team have been nothing but excellent to us and our pups, we would never want them to go anywhere else. They do a great job making our dogs look cute, always leaving the salon smelling wonderful, feeling super soft, and looking smart! We really feel like they all care about our dogs, which is a great comfort when leaving them there for a couple of hours. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

“We’ve had our cats go to Hall Place Stokenchurch for a few years and then Marlow after Stokenchurch first closed. They have supported us through two of our cats passings and been so kind and caring, as they understand our pets are family. Lovely staff, very friendly and I’d 100% recommend.”

This was his 3rd visit and each time he has got more relaxed and comfortable with the process allowing Karen and her team to do a little more. When we saw him, we couldn't believe how great he looked. He was happy and bouncy, smelt great and had a perfect cut.....can't get over how lovely he looks ❤️”

“We took a party of 47 oldies and volunteers for a day trip to Henley on 11 June - a river boat trip along the Henley regatta course and on to the Baskerville Arms in Shiplake for a wonderful lunch and a relaxing afternoon in their beautiful pub garden before the coach trip back home to Farnham. Graham and Gill were so helpful in advance of our visit - creating a special menu and endeavouring to meet specific needs. And on the day all food was served in good time and efficiently by a team of happy and willing staff with everybody getting what they had advanced ordered. So many positive comments from our oldies - they want to go back next year!! Graham also ensured that the coach could park right outside the pub making life so much easier for everyone. Thank you for a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️++ service and meal.”
