“Two night stay with friends. Location for station perfect, easy walk to all attractions, museums, galleries and restaurants. Rooms well fitted and very comfortable. Staff were all lovely, helpful and genuinely cheerful (says a lot to my mind). Food in Stoke Brasserie was very good and breakfast would meet anyone's requirements. Would recommend with no hesitation.”

“Me and my wife visited this week room clean and worm. Bar welcoming and really helpful. All staff helped us when we ask big thank you to tash and others who was on. To staff one suggestion is the front doors could turn in to automatic doors as it hurt are shoulders being so heavy And one lift doesn't have talking announcing But once agian A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF”

“Thank you for helping with the baby bird we had rescued on Thursday night. He loved the meal worms and grew stronger with us for four days. I realised he was actually a goldfinch so we drove all the way to Kirklees valley rescue as he needs a special diet and will be released with all the other baby goldfinches :-)”

“I bought a tub of dog biscuits that doesn't upset my dogs tummy. Called Extra Select Puppy Treats She's not a pup anymore but has a sensitive tummy. Good value for money at just under £10 for 500g.”

“Our entire stay was beyond fabulous! We were fortunate enough to get an early check in, which truly helped traveling with a 5 year old. Madison was a delight at the front desk. The room was quaint but really nice. Not a lot of space for 3 large suitcases but we made due. The location is amazing. The view of Derby Square, great. And being in the heart of everything made exploring fantastic and easy. The shower and towel warning rack were awesome too! We had breakfast there the first morning and it was really good. Overall a wonderful experience! We will be back!”

“Great service and they take care of both my dogs. Both Peanut and Dougal love Tails in the City, you can tell by their energy and confidence around everyone who works there and they can not wait to see everyone when I drop them off. Same commitment when I go to pick them up, they want to stay. Both have had no issues boarding, or with day care over the last three years. Julia and Team has been very open about Dougal and Peanut with me over the last two years. Highly recommend Tails in the City. Huge thanks to everyone who looks after the Dougal and Peanut.”

“What a place! I was after a new parrot cage and the staff were more than helpful. They had a great catalogue to choose from. I ordered the one I was after and within 4 days the cage was ready for me to collect, already assembled which really helped me out. Cheers”

“Everything was just perfect.The apartment was so clean, beds were comfortable, lounge area very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need and very clean , bathrooms were spotless and showers powerful. Staff at reception were excellent and very friendly. Location was amazing right in the centre and only a short walk to all the attractions, restaurant and shops. I cannot recommend this place enough it was excellent!!”

“We have been taking our border collie to Kirsty every week (for daycare) since October 2023, and our dog absolutely loves it! Kirsty is professional, experienced and passionate about working with dogs. Shes taken the time to build a good relationship with our dog and learn all his personality and little quirks. She is so attentive and caring, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for doggy daycare/boarding. It’s great peace of mind knowing that your dog is in a happy, safe place while you’re away!”

“I would highly recommend We Love Pets - West Lancs to look after your pets. Helen spent time getting to know us as a family and our dog and his needs. Helen placed us with Heather to look after our dog, she looked after Eddie as if he was her own. She updated us regularly with photos and videos. This completely put our mind at rest whilst away. We Love Pets were professional from start to finish and I would not want to use anyone else for pet boarding.”

Stefan is truly someone who is passionate about his business and about making sure all his customers human & furry are given the best service he can possibly provide. They deliver food the same day if possible so you are never caught short if you can’t make it out for whatever reason. Value for money, Great selection to choose from and always willing to offer advice and recommendations. Just Awesome. “I message Louboo on Facebook to see if they had any availability for the next day and they managed to squeeze my little doggo in. I was soo grateful for this because what the transformation they gave our Bella. Would definitely recommend this groomers as they are super friendly, they provide very fast communication response times and provide an exceptional dog cleaning and nail clipping service. Bella is now one very happy, shiny and clean dog, her bow on her collar was also a lovely touch - thank you.”

“We've used Ella for several years now and she's nothing short of fantastic! Whether we need dog boarding, doggy daycare or nipping in to feed our cats while we are away she is amazing! She's been so helpful as me and my partner often can be working away at the same time, she always is available to help us with our Beagle Benji or our 2 stay-at-home cats. “Fe is amazing, my 2 elderly dogs (both 13 years old) took to her immediately and could recognise her kind spirit. They now have a new spring in their steps and enjoy every walk, even in the rain. They enjoy lots of cuddles too. Fe always lets me know how they have been on their walks which is a great comfort to me, particularly as one of my dogs has a number of health problems. It's so good to know that they are cared for by Fe, thanks so much”

“Can't recommend Paula enough. She's absolutely fantastic! She's extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, reliable and just knows exactly what we and our cat needed whilst we were away! We knew he was safe, being well cared for and getting lots of cuddles! Fab and funny watts app photos and videos galore from Paula were evidence of this. Will use Paula without hesitation in future. “Our 2 Cockapoos, Bill & Ted, stayed with Imelda for a week and could not have been looked after better. Imelda really cares about the pooches and clearly loves what she does. We received photos through daily which was immediately reassuring - we could just see in their faces that they were content. Huge relief! They also enjoyed the company of Jack, Imelda's terrier. Imelda is professional, thorough and caring. She ensures that they have a home from home experience. Would have absolutely no hesitation in leaving the boys with Imelda again - and I think Bill & Ted would be more than happy with that too. Thank you so much, Imelda.”

“Even though only living round the corner from them, last week was the first time I’d used Bones U Like & it won’t be the last. As the food I’ve had to put my dog on to isn’t readily available in many places I contacted Mark on Thursday morning to ask if he could get it, Friday morning he delivered it to my door. Excellent service & correspondence from Mark in the 24hrs was second to none. I’ll definitely be dealing with him from now on.”
