“A1 is fantastic, great range of products, lovely welcoming staff and very knowledgeable. I was having issues with my dogs diet and the recommendations I got from Jo were great and now I have zero problems. I return over and over again and I've recommend the place to everyone I know with pets who live in the area. I would say it's more of a standard pet place, as in dogs/cats etc and not exotics, but I honestly can't fault them”

“My mum went in the shop yesterday n it was great. Really clean n tidy with excellent pets in clean cages. Animals are very healthy. Chris the new owner has done an excellent job in getting the shop back to a excellent standard. Chris will go above n beond to help you out in anyway he can n make sure you know everything you need to know about the pets you are looking at. Well done chris”

“The dog bath is a brilliant idea. The man on duty showed me how to use it, and after hours trying to book groomers to sort my dog, I was in and out within 20 minutes, with one very clean, happy dog. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“Brilliant dog groomers wouldn't go anywhere else. The girls have groomed both my dogs for years and they are brilliant with them. Great service, reasonable prices and I would recommend to family and friends. My mum also sends her dog to boes and we are both really happy with the service x”

“My first time here and it was superb. Three of us, wife, one of our children and myself. Food was brilliant and fairly priced, lighting in particular was just right. We are all a little neuro spicy and the right lighting is very important. Helen in particular was a delight. Welcoming, pleasant and knowledgeable about the product. My wife always asks for recommendations and not everyone everywhere can give an informed and interesting answer. Helen was all over it.”

“We stayed at the Pullman Hotel Liverpool on 14th November in Room 739 to celebrate our anniversary, and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Jon on Concierge was fantastic — polite, attentive, and always checking that we had everything we needed. Paul in the restaurant gave us such warm and friendly service at breakfast, making sure every detail was taken care of. We also dined in the restaurant in the evening, and the food was truly sublime — a huge compliment to the chefs for a wonderful meal. A special thank you to Rebekah for the beautiful anniversary card left in our room, and to the chef who prepared a personalised anniversary cake for us. These thoughtful touches made our celebration even more memorable. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and a real credit to the hotel. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Pullman Hotel Liverpool. We are already looking forward to our next visit!”

“This hotel has it right. My husband and I are world travellers and have stayed in many accommodations over the years. We were pleasantly suprised to see this hotel go above and beyond with every detail. We have added it to our list of "go to places to stay" as it fast became one of our favorites. We loved the unusual bathroom layout, comfortable bed, stunning views, friendly staff, and impressive breakfast setup. It was helpful that this hotel was close to where we needed to be - an easy walk where we felt safe and taken care of. The whole experience eased my stress during a challenging business trip. We would love to return for fun next time. One minor suggestion I can think of is the bin bags (trash bags) are pretty flimsy. Would be helpful if they were sturdier. Did you notice there's no 13th floor? That took the welcome form of humor for us and made us think of all the hotel horror movies out there, which made things funnier in a dark way (let's kick suspicions in the butt, yes?). Overall, we had a great stay and we highly recommend this hotel.”

“10/10 service .. Brilliant store with very knowledgeable staff, me and my husband found it was no problem for any of the girls to answer our questions, no matter how silly some of them may have been! They explained what setup we needed, temperatures and how to set it all up, we then sent them some photos to ensure it was all setup correctly and they replied very quickly! Once ready we went and picked this little guy up! Our first of many reptiles, and I can assure you I won’t be going anywhere else for them ! 5 * for the cleanliness of the store, the animal welfare and ethic, the girl’s knowledge and passion for their Job and overall amazing store ! Highly recommend !!”

“Since Monday previous review 3 years ago, this pet shop became a noticeably better pet shop with well trained and friendly staff. I now go to get bits I can't find anywhere else and have since bought my lovely Violet earth tiger tarantula from them. They are extremely helpful when I rang about a spider and offered to order it in for me if wanted.”

“I have been coming here with my cats for a number of years. All the staff are so kind and polite. I took my elderly cat to be PTS. It was a very sad time but they gave me time with him and I got a lovely paw print and sympathy card. They were sympathetic”

“Absolutely amazing place, best vets we could have picked for our pets. Every interaction with both Filipe & Aris has been seamless, from the care they express with our terrapin & hamster, to professionalism & thoroughness. We recently brought our elderly hamster to Aris, and although there wasn't an option for a procedure to sort out his issue (due to him being so old & poorly) he set out a nice plan with medications in place to make him pain free for the end of his life. Aris explains things very detailed & you can just tell he really cares about his patients and loves the job, which is just so lovely to see. Also prior to this, my terrapin was previously with an exotic vets in St Helens, were the vet was very rude and handled my terrapin horribly & rough, we then decided to make the change & move to this practise, were we instantly felt refreshed & 100% satisfied. That decision then led to my very unwell terrapin being saved from pneumonia he had (which the previous vet in St Helens did not recognise & brushed off), from our initial appointment with Filipe & then following appointments with Aris' - their outstanding expertise has been beyond valued. Really couldn't thank them enough & hoping they will both be at this vet practise for a very long time. 10/10 for the exotic vets here.”

“I was recommended these from another dog lover, I did use green lipped muscle, but wanted to add the glucosamine to my dogs diet too as I had read this was good. I am so pleased with the results, my Frenchie is running better and seems more agile since our first 120. They are big but so easy to crush with the back of a spoon, and then easy to hide in her food. I am just signing up for the subscription, as they’re even cheaper, and I will continue giving her these daily from now on.”

“Loverly pet shop has everything you need and the owner is friendly and very communicative. We bought our little Freddie ginea pig from there and he got ill so he's had him there and took him the vets while he takes antibiotics. He has gone above and beyond and gave us lots of advice and information. My daughter is very happy and can't wait to pick him back up. Quality pet shop ✅️”

“My pug Roger started out with Vets for Pets in Speke Retail Park fro 8 weeks of age. When they closed I was transferred to this practice in Penny Lane. As always they are amazing. They are are always spot-on with diagnosis & transparent when it comes to pricing. I trust them implicitly. The team are fantastic, friendly, helpful. They do literally go above & beyond to help. My Roger (pug) is 8 now and fighting fit thanks to the teams care, dedication and flexibility. You really won't put a step wrong with this team in your corner. “I love this place! The location is great, right in the heart of town and multiple options for shopping and food nearby. I’m in a studio room by myself. Although this hotel is in the busy part of town, because the windows are triple glazed it is very quiet in the rooms. It is small but very well equipped with a big fridge and cooking facilities. Complete set of pans and dishes, which is great for eating leftovers. . There is plenty of storage and hanging space. The air conditioner works great as it’s pretty warm at the moment. I had breakfast for the first time and it was really good. Nice cooked breakfast with cereals, fruits, selection of cheeses and meats. The staff here are very helpful and friendly! I liked this place so much that I booked a return trip here in a few months!”
