“Friendly staff. Access is brilliant for the disabled. Plenty of variety of foods available. If you spend over £25 in store then free delivery to your home is available. Outside there is a taxi rank if you do not have a car and the drivers are happy to help you load the bags. Some will even take your trolley back in for you.”

“I stayed here for two nights and the experience was genuinely solid. Great and varied breakfast options, an excellent central location, and very comfortable beds made the stay smooth and enjoyable. I’d also like to highlight the team — Sergio at the reception was extremely helpful and professional, Rafael in the restaurant brought a lot of positive energy, and Dawid rounded off the stay perfectly with a friendly conversation. As someone who works in the industry, I really appreciate this kind of natural and authentic guest approach. Overall, a hotel definitely worth recommending — both for the service and the location.”

“Stayed for 4 weeks due to work. Rooms and building could do with upgrade but are clean and comfortable. WiFi isn’t greatest. Staff are amazing couldn’t be anymore helpful and lovely. “Nice Rooms and breakfast. Staff really friendly even said have a nice night. Rooms very clean with minor staining on the headboard and chair. Conveniently located beside the airport 10 minute walk away. Bus stop across the road to get to City centre. We went over for an Everton match and you can't beat it”

“Great location, good value, a few quirks. Excellent location — clean, cheap, and right in the middle of Liverpool, with a car park conveniently opposite. From a hotel point of view, there’s not a lot more you could ask for. A few irritations though: The room was quite warm and difficult to cool down. You can’t open the windows because it’s city centre and there’s constant noise outside. The biggest frustration was the mind-numbingly overcomplicated self check-in process. It was meant to be a quick, continental-style system, but it was so convoluted that a staff member had to stand beside the machine to help everyone use it. At that point — just check people in normally! It would save the queue and the confusion. Note- I stay in Sweden a lot and self check-in is common and VERY EASY!!! Breakfast was the typical lively budget-hotel experience — food was fine for the price, but the service could use a tweak. Items kept running out because there weren’t enough staff replenishing, and dirty plates piled up now and then. All in all, though, a very pleasant stay and absolutely spot-on for a stag weekend — especially for a group of over-30s looking for a few creature comforts alongside the nightlife.”

“Pets corner is a joy! It’s my Wilfs home from home and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. He loves Martina and Elaine and the sausages!! I love going in for a cuppa and a natter. If you want the personal touch I wouldn’t hesitate to take your pooch and have a mooch!”

“I recently visited Pets at Home after getting my new puppy, and I have to say—it was a surprisingly good experience! While I did feel that some items were a bit on the pricier side compared to local shops or online stores, the quality of the products definitely made up for it. I picked up quite a few essentials in-store—crate, puppy pads, toys, treats, dry food, bathing products, and accessories—and everything felt reliable and safe for my pup. What really stood out to me was their no-questions-asked return policy. I had to return a couple of items that didn’t work out for my puppy, and the staff were super understanding and helpful. Zero fuss! On top of that, I accidentally left my sunglasses behind in the store. I called them the next day and—believe it or not—they had them safe and sound. I popped in and collected them without any issues. Big thumbs up for their honesty and customer service! Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety in-store—you can find everything from fish and hamsters to cats, dogs, and even insects (yes, really!). It truly lives up to its name: Pets at Home is your go-to spot for everything pet-related.”

“We had an excellent stay at the MGallery Hotel in Liverpool. From check-in to drinks in the bar and breakfast the following morning, every member of staff was lovely, friendly, and genuinely approachable. The level of service was outstanding throughout our stay, making us feel welcome at every touchpoint. A special mention to Carlotta at check-in and Sharon at breakfast — both were absolutely fantastic and truly made our experience even more memorable. A brilliant hotel with an exceptional team. “Wonderful Stay at Aloft Liverpool – Great Hospitality! We had a fantastic experience staying at Aloft Liverpool with a few friends. Our check-in was a bit late, and unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed for the night. However, receptionist Dave was incredibly understanding and offered us a refund due to the lack of hot breakfast options. He made sure we were still comfortable and well taken care of. Though the hot breakfast wasn’t available, the continental breakfast was still a nice touch. Kuby and Dave really went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and we truly appreciated their kindness and hospitality. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The staff made all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Liverpool. Highly recommended! Thank you, Dave and Kuby, for making our stay so memorable!”

“After a very stressful day and having no where to stay in a city we didn't know in the middle of Liverpools riots ... We stumbled across this hidden gem and although at first it was a little stressful without the door code; Once we were in, we were blown away by it, we stayed in a triple room with three single beds, it was spacious and the decor was on point, the bathroom was gorgeous and it was immaculate. We felt safe as soon as we walked through the doors. We had everything we needed in the room with extra supplies in the entrance if needed. The beds were so comfortable and all 3 of us slept so well and felt frefreshed. We were woken up with a message to say there was fresh fruit, juice and croissants outside our door. After the stress of the riots I didn't think I'd want to return but if we manage to book here again we would 100% return. Thanks so much guys!”

“The staff are all very friendly, quiz night on Mondays is good fun. I have stayed 3 times for work over the last 3 months, the food is good, the rooms are clean & comfortable. Room 4 has a fabulous view. It's easy to park & Joe, a lovely chap who comes in every Monday night, has told me all about the history of the place. I'll be back next month. A little hidden gem”

“This was our second visit and once again great for what we want while visiting family on the area. We were having an issue getting in to the room after dinner, but before we could report the issue staff were on the case and on had to sort out the issue. Love the idea of the little kition area as well if you are passing through or working away i guess. We will be back, without question.”

“It was nice to return to this hotel, as everything runs so smoothly. From check-in in the early hours of the morning, Simon was extremely helpful and explained everything about meals, through to the ladies greeting everyone at Breakfast. The bar staff were also great on the last night, even when the queue was approx 30 people long after a show at the Arena. They remained calm and super efficient. Thank you everyone!”

“The hotel is in a great central location and is in an amazing historic building. We loved seeing the original features throughout the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the room was comfortable. The only slight downside was that the discounted parking is a 10 minute walk away, which was no problem through our stay but felt a little far when carrying our luggage to/from the hotel.”

“Wonderful staff, clean rooms and amazing location. At the reception, Natalia was so lovely and we felt welcomed. The atmosphere by the restaurant and lobby is great too. We came here with our puppy and had the more comfortable stay with great views of the docks. Some Hilton hotels can be a hit and a miss, but the service here really makes this is a hit. This will become our go-to everytime we’re in Liverpool!”
