βVery welcoming and helpful. Super Clean. Great food and staff. Rooms where super comfy and looked great. Stayed for 5 nights. Will happily come back again.β
βIf I could give this place more stars I would as it in my opinion deserves it. Very friendly reception staff. Wheelchair accessible throughout the entire building. . The room is very clean and made up well with coffee and tea facilities. Rooms are cleaned for you daily with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom is amazing and modern with a lovely power shower. Included in the price is a free breakfast whether you want a cooked breakfast or a choice of cereals and fruit, plus free coffee or fruit juice and you can eat as much as you wish to. It has a well stocked bar along with a extremely high quality menu at a very reasonable price. Plus a choice of snacks should you miss the restaurant times. All in all the Holiday Inn Express in Sheffield far surpasses its 3 Star rating and I will definitely be staying there again and I would highly recommend it for both families and romantic couples . Thanks for a lovely weekend away........β
βI had my wedding at Mosborough on 28.06.2025 and it was the most amazing day!!! I canβt thank and praise the staff enough, from the wedding coordinators who guided me through the process to all the staff there on the day! Everyone was so kind and helpful, they couldnβt have done anymore and all my guests said the same!! We had no complaints, and the coordinator on the day kept touching base to make sure everything was running smoothly! If anyone is considering staying at the hotel the rooms are lovely, if the weather is hot just simply ask the desk for a fan as these were used!!! I would recommend this venue to any and everyone!!β
βThe reception was very polite and professional. It was a easy check and a good price. The place needs renovation but all was OK.β
β8/10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spacious rooms with amazing huge beds! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful with lovely views out onto the garden. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. Perfect for a peaceful stay. Sauna and steam room were great, pool facilities quiet and clean but hot tub was freezing cold. However for the price of Β£80 which we paid we got free breakfast and a wonderful stay- great value for money. Would reccomend. We will be back soon.β
βGreat central location easy to get to Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds and of course the beautiful Peak District. Met by the lovely Alana who went above and beyond to check we were comfortable in this warm weather, that our rooms were perfect, explain about the amenities and other local attractions. She was enthusiastic and friendly and just how you want to be greeted in a new town! Thank you Alana for making us feel so welcome!β
βEnjoyed a wonderful meal here with family that were staying in the hotel. The food was amazing. The staff were just perfect. I had my 3 year old with me and the staff were so accommodating with her/us. I couldnβt fault anything. I hope to return (minus my daughter so I can fully relax) again soonβ
βI had a lovely stay and would especially like to commend Barbara for her exceptional service. She was warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to make sure everything was comfortable and well organised. Her professionalism and genuine care made a real difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Thank you, Barbara, for your kindness and excellent customer service, it was truly appreciated.β
βstayed for 2 nights, everything you need in the hotel and a good price too. Shared bathrooms were always clean and nicely done up. Free parking out back. Heating could be turned up or down in my room (no set temp which was really nice). Cosy bed. Great bar downstairs with lovely staff, which serves food until 8pm. Doesn't do breakfast (only google maps seems to think this, their website and other booking sites don't say they do either) but lots of affordable cafes in Worksop within walking distance that do a proper fry up. Can't fault it, and much friendlier place to stay than a premier inn etc.β
βWent in with a close friend for a quick drink and was amazed by the amazing atmosphere. Our server was outstanding and we were treated with respect. I would recommend if you are stopping by or a local.β
βA group trip up for a taekwondo competition and we had a fantastic host in Katy at the restaurant, Katy went above and beyond over the two nights we stayed including after a trip to a and e that she made my kids feel safe and secured while we was away. Food was great and quick service. Beds comfortable as always 5* all roundβ
βClean, comfortable, easily accessible hotel with ample parking. The room was a little hot, due to no AC, however a large fan was provided which helped a lot. The restaurant next door has reopened, although I didn't use it on this visit. The stand out point for me, was the staff! We had travelled from Devon, for my partner to have major surgery at Northern General Hospital, and an, otherwise, stressful visit was made bearable by the care & compassion of every member of staff I met; they went above & beyond to check that I had everything I needed and that I was OK & enquired daily about my partner (he's recovering well). I'll be back to stay again when I return to bring him home. THANK YOU!β
βStayed here on Sunday the 3rd of August and was pleasantly surprised, a very clean establishment. Newly owned by a lovely bunch of Indians who were overly welcoming as soon as we arrived. The service is impeccable and the prices are unbeatable. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are top quality which for us is key. I mentioned to a member of staff about how great it smelt in the restaurant area baring in mind this is at 9pm on a Sunday night and he goes on to tell me it's the kashmir style chicken I can smell and offered to make me 1, at first I refused because of the time but he then insisted it was fine so although I'd already snacked earlier I decided to try 1. Well again pleasantly surprised. Fresh and delicious packed with flavour. As far as value goes this is the place to stay! Don't believe me ? Come see for yourself. Please don't come expecting a full menu as of yet as they are newly established so it's very very limited but if you trust a recommendation you'll love it. You won't get a pie or fish and chips here so if that's what your after your surrounded by other establishments that will happily accommodate your needs whilst spending only 48 quid on a room here!!!!β
βGood value accomodation in the heart of Sheffield. The location was perfect for the Christmas market and cathedral. Lots of great options nearby for food. The room was easy to access, clean, and with good facilities.β
βMum's 80th was held here and honestly can't thank them enough. The food was beautiful, staff were brilliant, overall we had a fabulous time.β
βStayed one night in a twin room. It was fine for the price. Very clean with all amenities. Lovely bathroom (bit of a smell though). Comfy beds. Food was nice. Great location too. Donβt book though booking.com though as theyβve been hacked and I almost lost money.β
βBooked DB&B via wowcher for a quick getaway. Warm welcome on check in with Nicky & co. Explained where everything is and facilities on site. Room clean but furniture tired looking and in need of TLC. The evening meal although smaller menu than other hotels of thus size was exceptional. Highly recommend the Yorkshire Fish cake starter. Wish I'd ordered it, had to steal a taste of the husbands. Sorry forgot pictures of main course!! Comfy bed in warm rooms. Paid short visit to spa area before checking out. Only small but good to sat inclusive of the price. Ps also dog friendly hotel.β
βLovely hotel. Very nice room. Dog friendly to the point they have treats and everything. Very accomodating. All the staff were fantastic, particulary the lovely man who gave us breakfast for free. Will definatly stay again next time in sheffield.β
βThis is a good hotel made excellent by the friendly, attentive, professional and fun front of house staff. Nothing was to much trouble. In fact hats off to all the staff. They were all incredible. The rooms are big, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The air-con was icy cold on a hot August day. The bathrooms are modern with a powerful hot shower. Ironing boards and irons in every room. Centrally located. Breakfast was included in the price and plentiful. Hot, cold, fresh waffles, fabulous. We stopped for 2 nights for my sonβs wedding at Kelham Island and these guys made the run up and the following morning so hassle free. There were 4 generations of our family stopping and we all agreed our stay was perfect.β
βA very pleasant experience. I had two nights with my partner and child. We had such great service from the staff and the room was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.β
βLet's remember this is a budget hotel. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and in nice condition. Rooms are good value, large, and clean. Location is good for jumping on the tram into Sheffield or for Meadowhall. Coffee not great. Would pay more for decent coffee. Food generally ok. I had some concerns about car park security before arrival but had no issues at all.β
βGreat place if you are going to arena 10 minutes away (mobility scooter), Staff helpful friendly polite, Bar was very interesting?, pool table, darts lots more real locals pub, plus a good coffee machine?. Hotel room brilliant sand shower room great kettle plus, telly, all felt new, very good security? I am semi disabled this hotel is not for full disabled???.β
βFantastic night last night celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The customer services was impeccable and the staff immaculate. The staff went out of their way to make this such a wonderful and memorable experience for my mam and dad. My sister and I canβt thank them enough xβ
βCanβt comment on the hotel but just had Sunday lunch, we got the platter for 2 and the portion is amazing! Could have easily fed 3 people. Beef was a little too well done for me (thatβs just personal preference) but theyβll chicken was well seasoned and the pork belly melted in your mouth! Amazing service from Simon and the team! Always happy to help and nothings too much trouble!β
βThis is only my second visit here and we decided to try the carvery and we're glad we did. Quickly served at the bar for drinks and ordering food. No problem finding a table mid week but would be wise to book on a weekend. Had a choice of 3 meats, 3 sorts of potatoes and 7 vegetables. I had the beef & pork with roast potato, roast carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, Swede (thankfully not mashed) white cabbage, leeks, crackling and gravy. I didn't have a Yorkshire pudding but my husband said his was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.β
βExcellent hotel, great customer service. Free parking, excellent breakfast, good sized rooms. Heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Nice gym on site, easy drive to/from M1 and into Sheffield City Centre, great location, great stay.β
βExcellent time went to play bingo with work friends won over Β£80 between us, food was goodβ
βWell worth a visit, rooms are well appointed and the pub is welcoming. Good location in the town but they do have limited parking spaces. No big deal as there are loads of car parks in Chesterfield.β
βThank you to all the wonderful staff today including the kitchen staff for making my birthday extra special. The Garlic Mushrooms and Sea Bass was amazing , so tasty and well presented. The staff are amazing and would highly recommend the food .β
βAt the Christmas party afternoon. We went last year and really enjoyed it. Great food and always nice and hot, impressive how quickly everyone is served. Bingo , disco and a singer. Its a brilliant afternoon.β
