What really made our visit memorable was our server, Eve. She was attentive and friendly. Her excellent service made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. If you're looking for great food and outstanding service, Huck's is definitely worth a visit!”

“Visited this afternoon for Sunday carvery since it has new been taken over by Kevin and his family! The carvery was unreal, so many different things to choose from, 4 different meats (you get nice thick cuts of meat, not just thin pieces!). The environment and staff were also great. I would definitely recommend visiting!!”

“We went to see the new refurbishment and it was lovely and fresh and clean. Our meals were of the festive and normal menu but the festive was missing some elements. However once this was highlighted to staff and manager it was rectified and compensated. The staff went above and beyond. “I have eaten from here loads, normally from the grill, which is always good. Today I ordered the nihari, which I wasn’t expecting much as it’s a dish that takes ours to cook properly, the meat fell off the bone, was cooked and spiced perfectly, would have liked it slightly thicker, but that’s preference. Will be my go too from now on”

“Came in here with my uncle Steven to have a bite to eat. Morley our server was phenomenal, she was so friendly and helpful. The manager on shift was really helpful with getting me somewhere comfortable for my wheelchair to go. Food was outstanding the short rib was falling off the bone. There were three chefs at our table and all three of us were very happy. The price was basically unbeatable for that quality. I looked into the hotel rooms and they're really reasonably priced, and you get 10% off food at the bar which is amazing. 1000% will be coming back here when we're next in town.”

“Have visited this place many times over the years. Usually for dinner, this time I was just passing at lunch time and decided to pop in for something to eat. On the entrance side its a takeaway and and the right hand side its a restaurant with table service. I ordered one of my old favourites the Adana Kebab, the service and food were spot on. The restaurant became quite busy while I was sitting there with bookings and walk in customers. Good to see this place is thriving .”

“My mother who lives in Dronfield suggested we try the Miners Arms as it has recently reopened after a refurbishment. The decor is gorgeous and the seating comfortable and inviting. Emma was our server. She was FANTASTIC! She greeted us immediately, took our drink order and provided us with menus. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make suggestions which was very helpful for my mother. She also asked the chef for a side order of the vegetables that went with another dish and that was very much appreciated. The food came quickly. It was piping hot and delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment and Emma is an asset to it and to the hospitality industry in which she has chosen to work!”
