Our guests were so impressed with the atmosphere, facilities and two friendly staff members who went above and beyond to cater to any needs and make this a perfect evening. “We stayed at the Pullman Hotel Liverpool on 14th November in Room 739 to celebrate our anniversary, and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Jon on Concierge was fantastic — polite, attentive, and always checking that we had everything we needed. Paul in the restaurant gave us such warm and friendly service at breakfast, making sure every detail was taken care of. We also dined in the restaurant in the evening, and the food was truly sublime — a huge compliment to the chefs for a wonderful meal. A special thank you to Rebekah for the beautiful anniversary card left in our room, and to the chef who prepared a personalised anniversary cake for us. These thoughtful touches made our celebration even more memorable. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and a real credit to the hotel. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Pullman Hotel Liverpool. We are already looking forward to our next visit!”

“This hotel has it right. My husband and I are world travellers and have stayed in many accommodations over the years. We were pleasantly suprised to see this hotel go above and beyond with every detail. We have added it to our list of "go to places to stay" as it fast became one of our favorites. We loved the unusual bathroom layout, comfortable bed, stunning views, friendly staff, and impressive breakfast setup. It was helpful that this hotel was close to where we needed to be - an easy walk where we felt safe and taken care of. The whole experience eased my stress during a challenging business trip. We would love to return for fun next time. One minor suggestion I can think of is the bin bags (trash bags) are pretty flimsy. Would be helpful if they were sturdier. Did you notice there's no 13th floor? That took the welcome form of humor for us and made us think of all the hotel horror movies out there, which made things funnier in a dark way (let's kick suspicions in the butt, yes?). Overall, we had a great stay and we highly recommend this hotel.”

“This hotel was a gem. We have been all over Europe this year in over 30 hotels including Paris but this hotel was miles the best. The hotel has parking for about 10 cars and is a two storey building. Breakfast you can have basically anything within reason a typical breakfast is 2 sausage,bacon,eggs with beans and tomatoes also toast with jam of course there is tea and coffee. The rooms are great for sleeping in with a bathroom and a TV. Getting in to Liverpool is easy all you do is come out of the hotel turn left and walk up St Paul's Road at the end turn right up to the second set of lights on to Poulton Road turn left and the bus stop is there into Liverpool at a cost of £4 return. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Royal Albert docks. This is with a 10 minute walk down Dale street. I can highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be going back. The hotel is a project in operation but the hotel manager (Dave) and his staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them to solve.”

“Stayed overnight whilst in the area for a friend’s birthday party. Lovely, clean room with spacious bathroom - shower looked like it had been installed days ago. The best breakfast I’ve had for a long time - freshly cooked eggs royal. Really extensive breakfast menu and very reasonably priced. All cooked to order. Beautiful presentation. Delightful staff.”

“I found this a hidden gem. Room was great. Staff very helpfull. Price quality equation very good. Food also good. Parking great for the bike. Trucks passing by can disturb light sleeping people, but i am not.”

“We needed somewhere close to the waterways museum and this was the perfect spot. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were great, happy, smiling nothing too much trouble and the meal we had was excellent. Our room on the 3rd floor gave us great views over the canals and museum. I would highly recommend. The only potential problem is what appears to be limited parking, although there was a wedding on when we were there which may have been the cause of the problem.”

“I love this place! The location is great, right in the heart of town and multiple options for shopping and food nearby. I’m in a studio room by myself. Although this hotel is in the busy part of town, because the windows are triple glazed it is very quiet in the rooms. It is small but very well equipped with a big fridge and cooking facilities. Complete set of pans and dishes, which is great for eating leftovers. . There is plenty of storage and hanging space. The air conditioner works great as it’s pretty warm at the moment. I had breakfast for the first time and it was really good. Nice cooked breakfast with cereals, fruits, selection of cheeses and meats. The staff here are very helpful and friendly! I liked this place so much that I booked a return trip here in a few months!”

“Comfortable hotel with a reasonable breakfast included and helpful staff. A couple of issues with room No 2 which was mentioned before leaving such as heated towel rail not working and instructions are needed in the room to operate the heating controls. Apart from that a satisfactory stay as always.”

“I've been coming 'the Snig' for 15 years and it's always had a place in my heart. Now that Brad has done the place up its looking even fresher. This along with the fact Joseph Holts Manchester Brewery is involved means there's a fine selection of bevvies too.”

“As with all Premier Inns the beds are nice and comfortable. We just had one night here but it was great. Very good location, very central. Easy walk to the central Liverpool city area and Lime Street station is right across the road.”

“Lovely big place, with disabled access. Great freshly cooked breakfast (£7.50 extra) as I only stayed 1 night. Tea/coffee in rooms. Nice and warm & polite, nothing is too much trouble staff. Staying 1 night again soon.”

“Lovely hotel which is great for families. Great, convenient location with plenty of parking. Nice swimming pool with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. Nice, well equipped gym. The rooms are very nice although the bathroom we had was a little dated maybe, but not the end of the world clearly. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings but breakfast everyday was lovely with a large selection of hot and cold items to suit all tastes. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful throughout the stay. We also left an item behind in the room by accident so rang them, and they were super helpful and pro-active in arranging for the item to be sent back to us.”

To staff one suggestion is the front doors could turn in to automatic doors as it hurt are shoulders being so heavy And one lift doesn't have talking announcing But once agian A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF”

“The person who left without paying when i was there should be a shamed of themselves the hotel is spotlessly clean he only put on about it being not being clean to get out of paying jo and azzif who own the hotel cant do enough for you ive been staying there 15 years sometimes 4 times a year who ever you are you must have do e it before he didnot have the guts to talk to the owners”

“Great friendly customer service, who looked after our bags before being able to check in, and took them up to our room for us. Clean room, comfy beds, curtains very good, heating worked well, newly fitted bathroom and a delicious breakfast to top it off!”

“I didnr stay at this hotel but went for dinner with friends and I just wanted to say that having eaten several times at this hotel this was the very best. The main thing was the service. We had a delightful young woman that looked after us she was efficient, knowledgeable,well presented and took our orders with minimum effort. Why cant all waiting on staff be like her. She even listened to my suggestion of a large print menu or magnifier to assist people with poor sight to remain independent whilst out. Having spoken in favour of our waiting on staff I should also say the food was lovely too.”

“Our entire stay was beyond fabulous! We were fortunate enough to get an early check in, which truly helped traveling with a 5 year old. Madison was a delight at the front desk. The room was quaint but really nice. Not a lot of space for 3 large suitcases but we made due. The location is amazing. The view of Derby Square, great. And being in the heart of everything made exploring fantastic and easy. The shower and towel warning rack were awesome too! We had breakfast there the first morning and it was really good. Overall a wonderful experience! We will be back!”

“My partner and I stayed at the Victoria hotel for 2 nights and it was one of the best places we've stayed. Ian was an incredible host, so helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were lovely, lots of space and so clean. The bed was beyond comfy! There's a kitchen for if you want to make food, bread and cereal is available and you can get plates and cutlery for take aways. There's a car park and a lovely roof terrace! I can't recommend the Victoria hotel enough.”

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the gentleman who worked night shift on the 27th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, his kindness and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. My husband just lost his mam that night and we both were devastated. My husband forgot to register our car but the gentleman offered his help and sorted it out for us. He even offered his condolences which is very kind and heartwarming. Unfortunately we forgot to ask his name. He wears glasses and worked night shift on 27 November 2025. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, always greeting us with a friendly smile and a genuine willingness to help. We only stayed for 1 night but we've already decided to book this hotel again every time we're in the area.”

“Everything was just perfect.The apartment was so clean, beds were comfortable, lounge area very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need and very clean , bathrooms were spotless and showers powerful. Staff at reception were excellent and very friendly. Location was amazing right in the centre and only a short walk to all the attractions, restaurant and shops. I cannot recommend this place enough it was excellent!!”

“Great service and they take care of both my dogs. Both Peanut and Dougal love Tails in the City, you can tell by their energy and confidence around everyone who works there and they can not wait to see everyone when I drop them off. Same commitment when I go to pick them up, they want to stay. Both have had no issues boarding, or with day care over the last three years. Julia and Team has been very open about Dougal and Peanut with me over the last two years. Highly recommend Tails in the City. Huge thanks to everyone who looks after the Dougal and Peanut.”

“10/10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and spa. Lots of free parking available on arrival we were offered a complimentary cookie (vegan and gluten free option available) which was a lovely touch. The spa was beautiful and treatments were amazing. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was also very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The food in the garden room was amazing thanks to the chef James and our server Ava was amazing and made sure my dietary requirements were met. Breakfast was also great. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll be back”

“Beautiful stay again at Thornton Hall hotel. Old school service where customers are valued, the staff are so friendly. Rooms are spotless and so comfortable. Great deals at the moment where you can use the spa as well. The spa is a special place so relaxing. Just love this hotel I have been many times and just feel it gets better with each visit.”
