“Hidden gem If your anything like me, I tend to type into google ‘hidden gems’ then the area when looking for places to eat. Well this is a hidden gem, probably known to the Bayford community and now me. I drive past the bakers arms twice a day. Each time I do, something else catches my eye and I think to myself, I have to come here. So, today I was driving home from work and thought let me see what the name is. As I carried on home I thought to myself i’m coming back here tonight. Its now or never. I got home, got changed and grabbed my partner and left for the Bakers Arms. I had not googled this place or looked it up online, i just knew the name and location. All I can say is wow! As soon as we walked i we where greed so kindly by Martin and walked around to the dining room. The dining room was cosy, very well presented and clean. We both had the lasagne and it was amazing. The flavours burst in your mouth and where lasting, even the chips we ordered on the side where perfectly crisp. Both my partner and I rate our food out of 10 at home and in restaurants I can say i have never got past a 7.5. Today was the the first time I have ever heard him say a meal is a 10 and then change it to an 11. From hospitality, location and food, the Bakers Arms is a must visit. It should be in the class of a hidden gem. Im glad i followed my instincts today and got experience their venue. Thank you to both Martin and Bev for being a great host and providing impeccable food. My Partner is still talking about the lasagne now so thank you for making a lasting impression on him. We look forward to visiting again very soon. All the best Georgina and Charlie”

“Second time staying here in 2025. It’s a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and modern with the required facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different options. The location is super convenient for most tourist attractions. The Waterloo station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.”

“Our two cats were very well cared for at Treetops. The staff are friendly and efficient, and seem to care about the cats they're looking after. On dropping ours off I saw where they were going to be for the week and I was impressed that it was spotlessly clean. A great local cattery.”

“We have visited here many times, simply because of the location, the food, the pub itself and the great service. Almost every time we visit, we are served by the lovely Angela. She always remembers us and greets us with a friendly smile. She has a wonderful sense of humour and always makes our visit a pleasure along with her lovely customer service. “We chose to stay here for a weekend in the ready tents. The glamping tents were well equipped with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc. It also had bunk beds and a double bed perfect for family of 4 or 5. The sleeping areas were great with blackout sides for a good night's sleep. The site had very clean washing facilities and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will easily be coming back again for another weekend!”

Donny has been staying with them for the last 10 years and he is never unhappy about going in fact some times he is so excited about going we don't even get a goodbye.”

“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! “Wow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I can’t express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that he’d been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. I’m so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. I’m already looking forward to booking again for next year! “Amazing experience for our friend’s birthday lunch. The food was delicious with lots of vegan options and the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Fallon in particular was a wonderful host and made sure we were really well looked after. Would definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for a genuinely warm and special environment ❤️”

“If you're an American, the room may seem small. My wife and I were good, but we barely spent time in the room. The staff were great, super helpful. The location is amazing for getting to your sights and tours.”

“Small but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if it’s raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.”

“Usual Ibis standard. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast great! 10 min. walk to Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station and then one tube stop from O2 arena and at least a third the price of hotels on peninsula - What's not to like?”

“Just back from an 4 day break which turned into a 8 day break. Mark was really helpful when we were trying to set up and along with a few fellow campers and staff they managed to get us pitched correctly in no time - nothing seems to much bother for them. I asked to stay on extra nights and Billy at reception went out of his way to sort my extra nights and I didn't have to move pitch. Visited this site many times over the last 7 years, started in a tent and progressed to a hard top folding camper and now our beloved Hobby caravan. The site really is immaculate, they focus on every detail. Pitches are quite large, shower blocks are fantastic, possibly the best we've used, always clean. Staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, nothing too much trouble. I was there on my own for most of my visit, the owners kept their eye out on me, i felt relaxed and safe in the secure environment. They are constantly improving the site as we have witnessed over the years. The long termers are friendly and welcoming to tourers. Perfectly located with shops and pubs, beautiful surrounding areas. “Harley has stayed here several times. It always amazes me how all the staff know all the dogs. It's the only place where she comes out so happy, giving affection to us for collecting her but importantly it's lovely to see how she interacts with the staff who clearly invest a lot of time while we're away and make a fuss. Couldn't recommend Pipwood highly enough!”

“We have stayed here a few times and found the staff and service to be exceptional. Checked in by the lovely Anna on this occasion. We were a little bit early but she greeted us with a huge smile and swiftly went through the checking in process. We had a quick pint before going to the room. Sanjeev served us our drinks. He was a real highlight too.”

“Novetel Greenwich offered a lovely welcome from the moment we arrived. Great value parking made things convenient, and the breakfast delivered to our room was excellent. The bathroom was spotless and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, a really pleasant stay.”

“Hotel is in a nice neighborhood very close the the underground. Room was just fine, nothing luxury but it was clean and good looking. You have free wifi in your room. Unfortunately you only get 1 towel and have to ask for a second one after you realize. We at first didn't bother and went out and asked the night secretary at around 11 pm to give as a second towel which was no problem at all.”

“I was travelling alone and had a long early morning flight ahead so moved from another hotel in central London to Aerotel London at Heathrow Terminal 3, and I'm so glad I did! I had a single room with no window, and I had no plans other than to sleep, so, while it was small, it was convenient, clean and comfortable. I had three suitcases and they fit conveniently in front of the bed, and there is a small bench where you can rest an open case to go through it. There are three hangers on a stylish set of holders for your clothes/outer-wear. There is a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, and there is a small restaurant on the 3rd floor called the Library. The lobby has some snacks and drinks for purchase also. Check-in and check-out were both easy, and the staff were friendly. Considering this is in the middle of an airport, it was so quiet! I will definitely stay here on my next transit through Terminal 3.”

“Positives Very good value (In October). Massive estate, excellent area. Swimming pool water was very warm and child friendly. Fruit at breakfast was superb - best prunes I have ever eaten. Free fruit offered outside of breakfast in one wing of the hotel. Neutral / noteworthy. My room was very far away from the rest of the hotel. "Deluxe" room was slightly odd with staircase and no bath tub. Negatives Cooked breakfast wasn't all that. I didn't enjoy the cooked breakfast my sister also didn't finish hers. I expected better. Pool closed too early resulting in a surge of people using it use on Saturday night, please open till 22:00 not 19:00.”

“I’ve DJ’d fancy, private functions in countless boutiquey hotels over many years, and few can top this place for the flexibility, professionalism, helpfulness, and calm of its manager, Adrian, and his staff, notably Kate, Agata, and Tom. Between them The Manor set the scene for another wonderfully uplifting and spirited party. Definitely coming back with more clients who want to celebrate their special milestones.”

“Stayed last week & just wanted to send a message of thanks to Vanessa & Elena in the restaurant. Both a credit to Hilton. Vanessa’s knowledge on the menu was excellent, she recommended the curry which was delicious. Elena is lovely also & made me feel like nothing was too much, she made me a coffee & finally…somebody who knows how to heat milk properly without burning it!
