“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

Cannot say enough how helpful it is to be able to ring up without some call centre and have the phone answered (doesn't happen with all pharmacies) and then for them to actually sort everything out for you. “I just wanted to update my review as I had a great experience the other day. The lady in there is so amazing. She could see how stressed I was and she offered to ring my doctor for me to sort my issues out and the next day the gentleman working in there called me with an update. They went above and beyond to help me. Staff are always very friendly in here. I usually call first to make sure that my prescription is ready. It is a very popular and busy pharmacy so I would suggest arriving in good time before closing so that you get served. I was once in line when a customer had been told by their doctor that if they popped in they would be given their prescription on the day. Unfortunately for the customer this was not possible as it was right before closing time so I would suggest always calling them before hand even if your GP has said to just pop in.”

In the past, the previous manager talked down to employees, even siding with rude patients, and I even witnessed staff being shouted at — it created a very negative environment.
