“Today I had the most amazing experience with The pet vet Bilborough. I brought my very nervous nala to have her teeth done and they went above and beyond to accommodate her, allowed me to sit with her pre and post op to keep her calm and relaxed, constantly had the team checking on us. the vets and nurses were so good with her, getting on her level and letting her take her time to come to them and did not rush her. I could not of asked for a better experience. every single member of staff i interacted with was so lovely and friendly and they seemed genuinely supportive of nala and wanted the same care and experience for her that I as her owner would want. I came here due to the dental offer but will definitely be moving here and highly recommend. i’ve been to a few vets now and have never found they understand nervous dogs or want the genuine best thing for the animal but these guys definitely do treat them as their own. thank you so much guys ❤️”

“Would highly reccomend this vet to anyone in need. Phoned this evening to ask advice on our dogs broken nail. The vetinary nurse on the phone couldn't have been any more helpful. We made our way to the vets and was seen straight away. The utmost care was given to our dog by the vet and nurse. Can't thank them both enough for all they did.”

“Our family cat, Susie, was looked after for all of her long life by Davison Vets. And so we took her here, finally, when she became ill for the last time. We experienced such care and sensitivity from all of the staff at the practice, and we were never rushed in any way. Both of the Vets we saw were immensely kind and considerate, but also utterly professional and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank everyone enough for the time they took to explain everything to us, at what was a very sad time- Thank You all for helping us through it.”

“I had a medical emergency and no one to care for my dog. The gentleman there took excellent care of my pooch, giving me updates on her and just going above and beyond to ensure I didn't have to worry about her. Cannot recommend highly enough for those of us who love our doggies. They are in very good hands, with a person who genuinely likes our four-legged friends.”

“We have taken our dog Baxter to stay at Dog About Town Pet Hotel for the past 11 years. From his first visit, to his most recent visit a few days ago he has always looked well when we collect him. When he arrives for a stay he is met by Linda and Emilia, who have got to know Baxter. The facilities are spotlessly clean and there is a selection of food for your pets. We would recommend Dog About Town Pet Hotel to anyone.”

“I have been here multiple times with my dog. He is always well looked after and comes out looking brilliant. I booked the wrong cut for my dog but they still managed to do the right cut for him. It was nice and easy even with the social distancing rules. It is more than other groomers charge and only downside for me is it takes over half an hour to get there, but given the quality I am happy to travel!”

“Bridget looks after my diabetic catd administering his insulin by injection twice daily. She is reliable, trust worthy and has a natural love of animals. I would not hesitate in recommending Bridget, she's wonderful.”

“Took my little chorkie Shadow here for a shave and trim plus wash and nail cut. Couldn't be happier. The lady who booked me in and did the actual grooming was so lovely and the end result was wonderful. A really wonderful service would highly recommend. Will be visiting again ! Thank you x”

“Lovely staff. My dog looked and smelt beautiful when we picked her up. No signs of stress from my dog either. It's not cheap but you do get a full groom and claw cut (I'd been paying separate for claws ) very happy .”

“We had a lovely greeting when we arrived, the hotel staff were all so friendly and kind. The room was perfect, warm, clean. The restaurant was super comfortable and the food was perfectly cooked, especially the bacon, which was delicious. The friendly staff were especially kind to the children who were offered a little toy to keep ❤️ Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely come back here again.”

“Unfortunately we required the use of Vets Now on Christmas Day. We were welcomed by Paige who offered lots of reassurance. We then saw Gonçalo who had excellent ‘bedside’ manner despite our dog being quite nervous. He also could tell we were anxious about any prognosis so also treated us with empathy and compassion to what was happening. Everything was explained thoroughly, our dog was treated with extreme care and attention. Over the 24hrs he was with VetsNow we were kept updated and nothing was too much trouble. Thankfully he’s now on the mend. Big thanks to Gonçalo, Paige, Rebecca and Jacqueline and anybody else involved in the care of our boy who is now recovering at home. Always a scary experience, but not being in our hometown let alone own vets added to this but the service was exceptional and I’d definitely recommend! Building is brand new and clean with lots of rooms and modern facilities.”

“Went to jollys groomers today to get my very nervous dogs claws cut I was met by a very nice guy who was very patient and took his time with Willow to gain her confidence he spent time making sure she was comfortable and what would ordinarily have been a very stressful event passed without incident. I am sorry I didn't get his name but he was amazing I will certainly go back....”

“We loved our stay, the room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and breakfast was delicous. The staff were amazing, every one, from check in to the bar and breakfast serving staff. Reception were very help with directions and all were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough. No road/train noise. Super close the Motorpoint Arena too.to Hope to stay again soon”

“I like Premier Inns as you know where you’re at with them. Good value, clean and nice. The evening staff on this particular one went above and beyond on accommodating our kids. They gave us activity packs on arrival and some goody bags during dinner. Great service.”

“We love staying at premier inn and always book a premier plus room for extra space, newly refurbished rooms and those little extras (Nespresso machine, sparkling water and Green&Blacks chocolate) The room was spotless and comfy. Staff were friendly and efficient. We did not have food as already eaten but menu looked lovely and breakfasts as always are great value.”

“Took a very shaggy Cockapoo ( more Cocker than Poo ) into the Groom Room. Her lastgroom with another groomer had left her traumatised and made her extremely anxious if we left her. We had used the Groom Room before but tried a few others based on recommendations. Mollie needed a good groom so I rang the Groom Room explained what the issue was and they managed to squeeze Mollie in today. She initially was reluctant but a cuddle from one of the team seemed to settle her and she happily went to be showered without a backward look. It was a little longer as she was very tangled but when I went to pick her up she was behind the counter just having a wander.round. No problems with her back in the car - in fact she spent time sniffing around ( a favourite pastime ) The team there ( I’m sorry I didn’t get their names ) but they did a fabulous job and we are booked in for 8 weeks time Thank You”

“Very central location, within walking distance to major attractions as well as the Motorpoint Arena. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel, excellent value for money, good breakfast selection and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“We stayed here for 2 nights, with a Guide Dog for the Blind puppy, the room we were given was very roomy and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating of our pup and all staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Dee in the breakfast room, she was so helpful and informative of all the ooptions on the breakfast menu. The cost of the room and the additional breakfast were very reasonable. Plenty of parking and easy access to Nottingham centre.”

“10/10 experience, been twice now and will definitely come again. Nice and modern interior as been refurbished inside with a nice nod to the regions cotton industry, like the touches around the hotel with the bobbins for example. Great location and we were up graded too which was a bonus, thanks. Short Uber to the city. Staff lovely, professional and pleasant. Got vouchers for cocktails and for evening meal didn't use meal one but gratefully received. Thought parking was reasonable got a half price rate of £6, thank you. Highly recommend and will visit again. Thanks to all the team 5 star, sadly couldn't stay longer but will return.”

“Visited for a work event. This place is absolutely stunning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food I had (with photos) Starter - Ham Hock Terrine, Main - Chicken Breast, Desert - Chocolate Orange Tart. However, some people on the table didn’t like the food, so I tried theirs too. I tried the Gnocchi and also the Biscoff Cheesecake. All food A*! Good for the event came out very quick and promptly. Tables cleared just as quick. Didn’t stay over, but I will most certainly be booking in the future too, this place is lovely.”
