“Genuinely maybe the best 3 course meal I've ever had, booked the function room for a surprise 30th and was genuinely unbelievable. We had Riccardo (might be slightly wrong) but couldn't have asked for any more. It is slightly on the more expensive side but one million % worth it if you want the full experience. Food and service both 10/10”

“Can’t speak for the rooms as didn’t see them but based on all else am giving a 5 as not sure what happens if skip stars for the rooms .. but the service is phenomenal. Fascinated to watch the efficiency and attention the staff give to their jobs. They dont skip a beat! As for the ambience and just total loveliness of the building and its setting. Gorgeous. I’m trying to think of reasons to come back to this area. Loved it. My veggie tagine was pretty good too. Chips - French fries - as good as they get. No stragglers at the bottom you can’t eat. Yummy til the last bite.”

“Perfect place for a warm Summer evening meal outside. Great menu and very good quality food. Chicken came with one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had in a long while including fresh anchovies. The trout was also perfectly cooked. Large garden with various options for eating outside;open, partly or totally under cover. Best to book a table or arrive early especially on weekends, although be aware you can’t order food until 6pm.”

“Cooper is always so well looked after here - after a few surgeries and numerous visits for check ups and to settle a worried owners mind! We’ve never been so glad to find this vets - they truly care about you and your fur baby”

“I whole heartedly recommend this practice. They have treated our dog before amd did so woth so much care. Today, they admitted my kitten who had a deep abscess on his face. They are so emphatic amd caring and will go above and beyond to make sure the animals that they treat are priority. I honestly couldn't be more grateful to everyone who works here. The lady at reception started her day early as I had plan, the nurses who tended to his every need throughout the day and the vet who worked on him twice. Thank you all so much. We are incredibly grateful.”

“Great pub food. Probably the best pub pie I have ever had. Combine that with excellent beer, a lovely atmosphere and a roaring fire, couldn't be better. We will be back!!!”

“Such a lovely vets. I went to another vet for my terrapin and wasn't happy with their service so spent time googling and found Farthings and I'm so pleased I did. Location ideal, parking ideal, reception staff all friendly on phone, email and in personal. Vet was so nice and not judgemental. Sadly I had to say goodbye to my 20 year old terrapin. Was such a horrible day but knowing I was in a better vets helped the situation. Collected my terrapin today and again such lovely staff. It's going to take me a while to get over losing luke but knowing the vets were thinking of the best rather than money and were just so lovely compared to the other vets I went to will always be remembered. Will highly recommend to anyone I speak to. Thank you again so much for making a horrible situation a little easier for me I'll always be grateful.”

“Culverden vets in Crowborough are absolutely lovely. They have always been very kind to our cats and shown us a lot of kindness also. They treat the animals calmly and all the staff I have met seem friendly and professional. Cornford.”

“Another great hair cut for the little fella. The staff make him feel comfortable and he always enjoys his visit. It might have something to do with the bone that I buy him after but I think it's because he enjoys the beauty treatment. Nails done, teeth cleaned, hair cut all in a couple of hours. Very happy”

“I took my parakeet Chippy today to have his nails clipped , he has had them done with Companion Care on several occasions, once again the staff were amazing and have done a great job , for a sometimes grumpy parakeet, he is sooo happy now with his manicurenow all done, many thanks nikki”

“I had a problem with my doh and came here. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. I had to wait a little bit but when I saw the vet she was caring and put out the options clearly. The treatment was about £1k to remove a lump from her ear.”

“Stud farm campsite is one of the most beautiful campsites I have stayed on. The views of the south downs and the sea are second to none. The campsite is quiet and had respectful people when we camped. They have a toilet block and showers although as we up on top of the downs the water pressure was very low so not sure how good the showers were, toilets were clean and tidy... Camp fires were allowed but only off the ground which is understandable. The have on-site staff to help and bring firewood if you need. It's only a short drive to birling gap or the start of the seven sisters. The top of the hill can get a bit windy but if you prepare for it it's not a problem. Keep an eye of for spitfire flybys”

“Had a very pleasant two night stay here. All the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good! The rooms are small and clean and just right for a short stay. The mattress could be more comfortable, but for two nights it was alright.”

“The Claremont went above and beyond for Afternoon Tea. We didn't stay there but wish we did because honestly, we had the most welcoming and great experience. My partner had a birthday celebration, not only did they gesture a cake with a candle and decorated for it, the wonderful lady serving us made sure we were well looked after by moving us and everything out in the garden for our convenience as well as checking up for naything we needed. The tea was absolutely delicious and fresh! Everything went so well and it was just a special day. We cannot comment on the rooms as we have not been but from images and description, look great! A gem to be recommended. They also celebrate artists by displaying interesting art for sale inside the foyer. Fabulous! So traditional, so english and so Brighton!”

“I use this pharmacy regularly for my repeat prescriptions, and they’re always very helpful and efficient. In particular, I was there this morning and asked if I could briefly discuss a prescription & its side effects - the pharmacist (I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me to make a decision about an alternative medication. I really appreciated the time and attention he was able to give me during a busy morning, and want to thank him & his team for the work that they do. Merry Christmas!”

“Lovely room, nice and clean, and we had white stuff toiletries which was a lovely surprise. Location a little out of the centre but great bus connections. Very responsive on email and telephone. Really happy. Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again.”
