“stayed here with a friend while visiting brighton for a show. in a great location, close to the city centre and the seafront. We had breakfast included and it was lovely. Great view from our window. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was also large. also has a lift which was super helpful for carrying our luggage upstairs!”

“It's becoming better than before things have changed for the better. Since last week especially, the shelves are stocked, service is efficient, and the whole atmosphere feels renewed. The team is clearly working hard to turn things around, and it shows. I want to commend them for this positive transformation. “Love this pharmacy. I have been using this place for over 20yrs. It is my favourite chemist in Brighton and Hove. The staff are helpful and friendly and it is also a very pleasant environment to be in whilst you wait in turn. It is clean and cool. Keep up the good work guys!”

“I recently had to make a claim for my parrot who had to go into the vets with an illness. Firstly, I’d never made a claim before and so I was abit clueless with what to do. I called up and the lady I spoke to on the phone (I can’t remember her name unfortunately) was so helpful, kind and caring. I explained I didn’t know what I was doing and she replied with compassion and understanding and helped answer the questions I had - how to make a claim basically. She was a normal human being and she cared about the wellness of my parrot aswell as helping, so thank you. The claim itself was easy and straightforward, just a form to complete and send off to the vets. I received an email to confirm my claim was in progress, and approx 2 weeks later I received an email to confirm my claim was accepted and the vets were paid directly. It means a lot to know my insurance company for my loved pets are compassionate and a claim can be made so easily. Thank you to the team at Exotic Direct - I highly recommend.”

“I went to the ironmongers, asking for something to deal with a rat infestation. The man behind the counter said "Have you tried Boots?" I said "I want to poison them, not kick them to death." Apart from that, great staff and service here. Don't use the little car park behind, though, without very carefully checking the parking rules. Instead, use Waitrose for up to 90 minutes' free parking.”

“Have been going to the Newhaven branch for some time now and they always do an amazing job! My dog is a bit anxious at the groomers but the staff are really gentle and always so kind and friendly - wouldn’t go anywhere else!!”

“Great location at a low price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, let us keep our luggage at the hotel after check out so we didn't have to carry it around with us. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good and there were enough options to choose from, breakfast area is decorated lovely too!”

“Good place to eat,doggie friendly,the staff are lovely they always bring out a fresh water bowl for our spoilt little dogs the dogs always sit on a cushion on the chesterfield sofa, staff don't bat an eyelid. We always tip well as they do a fantastic job vast arrayy of foods to eat,my only wish is that they have more vegitarian choices. It's reasonably priced for 3 of us to eat it worked out around 70pounds that's Inc alcoholic drinks. Huge portions which we never finish..You don't feel hurried to eat,it's so relaxing. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed for a week across 2 rooms, first was the honeymoon suite, we saw the fireworks from the sofa in the room. The second was a disabled room with a large wet room suitable for my wife's disability. Housekeeping was lovely and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious, a few problems with communication on the order but each time was corrected quickly. The reception staff were stars of the stay. Patricia, Amanda and Nick on the evening staff were the most notable. The managers Peter and Nick were very friendly. Our stay was framed nicely by the sea view and the close walk to local bars, restraunts and the pier.”

“I have to go every week to pick up my wife's meds. The staff are always efficient, polite and helpful. Absolutely no complaints. Sure it can be a bit longer when there are more customers, but that's obvious.”
