“Zoe did a wonderful job of Dougal's cut. He can be aggressive when nervous but she handled him expertly and I can honestly say it's the best cut he has ever had. A bit pricey at £55 but I have to say worth, every penny.”

“I was going on holiday and hadn’t realised that I didn’t have enough of my regular medications. They went out of their way to help me including going to the GP surgery to request the prescription and I got the MEDS within two hours. I always use this pharmacy for my regular medication because they’re all friendly and helpful and go the extra mile when needed.”

“Took both my shaggy springers here and they both came out looking a million dollars but more importantly the staff were so lovely with them, ones a rescue and a bit nervous... two different coats were dealt with two different ways after their good advice. Very happy with the advice, treatment of the dogs and the final result. They both look fabulous!”

“Always happy with the results, clean, soft to the touch and nice smelling dogs. As we have two they usually manage to fit them in at the same time/back to back making it easier for us. Reasonably priced too although I don't have much experience it comparison for it but it's money week spent for hassle free clean dogs. Thank you!”

“Attended as a night time emergency and the team were wonderful, welcoming reassuring and kept us informed at all times. Considering my dog had a long car journey (which he hates) they calmed him and he relaxed in their care which tells me everything. Well done and Thank you.”

It is the little things like classic FM on the radio and a few delicious sweet treats that immediately transport you into relaxation mode when you stay here. Everything was spotlessly clean and well presented. Also, I cannot remember having a better breakfast, it was 10/10!”

“Booked in for 1 night and paid £350 for a room without breakfast included (wow) (without a balcony) which was such a shame as we’d walked 12 miles to this hotel so we could have a room looking over the beach. The room we actually got was a large well designed room in the roof of the second floor. I went down to ask if we could swap rooms and it was a stern no. They are all booked. Fair enough, slightly moody receptionist. But our evening got exceedingly better as Nathan served us in the restaurant on the veranda and he was such a lovely man. So attentive and actually cared. We had a really lovely 3 course meal with cocktails because he was so good at his job. I actually wanted to eat elsewhere because I didn’t think the lady on reception gave a hoot about our stay. Thankfully we didn’t, the chicken skewers were so good and the fish was moist and fluffy. Really good chef. Cheese board was a delight and the chocolate dessert. Scott enjoyed an old fashion and mojito all really great quality. Nathan made our day by being funny polite and just really good at what he does. Thank you”

“I recently had to make a claim for my parrot who had to go into the vets with an illness. Firstly, I’d never made a claim before and so I was abit clueless with what to do. I called up and the lady I spoke to on the phone (I can’t remember her name unfortunately) was so helpful, kind and caring. I explained I didn’t know what I was doing and she replied with compassion and understanding and helped answer the questions I had - how to make a claim basically. She was a normal human being and she cared about the wellness of my parrot aswell as helping, so thank you. The claim itself was easy and straightforward, just a form to complete and send off to the vets. I received an email to confirm my claim was in progress, and approx 2 weeks later I received an email to confirm my claim was accepted and the vets were paid directly. It means a lot to know my insurance company for my loved pets are compassionate and a claim can be made so easily. Thank you to the team at Exotic Direct - I highly recommend.”

“We came in for a roast on Sunday (didn't use the rooms). Even though we were a little late for our booking the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely. They even brought some beef out for our chihuahua. We'll be back!”
