“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“I don’t usually write reviews but this world is always full of negativity and I wanted to say something positive. I’ve taken my 2 Doxiepoo’s to Pet-a-pawter for around 6 months now, regularly (every 6 weeks) I’d had a bad experience one day with the groom room so I contacted them by chance, explained my difficulty and my situation, they fitted me in the next morning at a squeeze. This wasn’t because they weren’t inundated, but because the ladies working here are genuine and caring. Every experience since has been great. I confused my dates for one appointment and the communication I received after missing the appointment was kind and considerate. My girls are always happy for the rest of the day after leaving there. “few weeks ago, I visited Pets at Home in Chingford with my daughter to purchase her first goldfish. At the till, we asked for some assistance and were told someone would be called. After waiting a while and asking again, the colleague kindly radioed a second time, but we were still waiting. I then decided to look for help myself and came across a staff member named Amy, who was putting stock out. The moment I asked, she immediately stopped what she was doing and offered to help us without hesitation. From start to finish, Amy was absolutely fantastic – she was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. It’s rare nowadays to come across someone who truly takes pride in their work, but Amy is one of those people. She is a real credit to the Chingford branch and to Pets at Home as a company. I really hope she is recognised and celebrated for her outstanding work ethic and customer care. Since that visit, every time we return, we make sure to see Amy – she has been phenomenal each time.”

“As first time cat owners, we wanted the best care whilst we were away for 3 and a half weeks. At first, we were hesitant to arrange a cat sitter but after visiting a cattery and speaking to people about leaving our cat with them, we realised that our Bella would be safest and happiest at home in her own environment. Toni was absolutely amazing and we had so much peace of mind when she sent us daily updates via text, pics and videos. She spent time playing with Bella and fed her according to how we had asked. She cleaned her litter daily and disposed of all rubbish including empty food pouches and any left over food outside in our wheelie bin so we didn’t come home to a smelly house. The house was left in the same condition that we had left it in. Toni is very friendly and came over twice before we booked her to answer all queries. We will definitely book her again and highly recommend her for anyone else seeking cat care.”
